Aside from the stench and peeling paint accented by the staff that have the personality of paste, I must say that the care my mother receives it utterly appalling. Her dignity has been stripped, privacy violated, sat in her own waste during dinner because no one would take her to the bathroom. This is probably one step up from a prison camp.

Hillcrest takes great care of all of their residents with kindness. The administration team is extremely thorough and competent in their regards and treatment toward the residents, faculty and staff, and visitors. Specifically Bill, Jessica, Ty, and Bri are all exceptional at their job, and it shows! Keep up the amazing work, I will continue to refer as many people as I can to Hillcrest that needs/wants their services and love!

Updated on March 2, 2024. My mother had to go back to Hillcrest 6 months after going home. Again, the staff was amazing! Rachelle, Anna, Donna, and Melanie were such a blessing. Their genuine concern and kindness will forever be appreciated. I’m so grateful for the care my mother has received. July 2023 -The staff has made all the difference. They genuinely care. I’m so grateful for the care my mother has received.

Rooms are clean. Food is good. Staff are amazing.

If I had to use one word to describe Hillcrest the word would be Meraki. It is a Greek word that means putting your heart and soul into what you do. I could not find a better word to describe employees and environment at Hillcrest. The heart and soul they put into taking care of our elders is amazing. I could share several success stories. When you walk into the Facility a breath of clean fresh air welcomes you as well as the warm, comfy colors on the wall. As you walk down their shiny clean floors you will observe smiling patients. They truly value their Facilities to be and feel like home for the patients. Their mission could not be more accurate, "We strive to revolutionize the health care industry through creating a culture of resident center services, personalized spirituality, quality of life initiatives and providing education."

I hope they are servig the patients better food. When i was in there , once in a great while you would get decent food but not often, as faf as seconds forget it you are not gettin them. Will never go back there.

Hillcrest is a very caring and friendly home. It is not hard to see how kind and compassionate the staff are with the residents. The team there is very educated and welcoming. You see friendly faces throughout the whole building. I would definitely recommend to my family as well as others, if ever in need for rehab or help with your loved one. I proudly say that I am part of this team and wouldnt change it for the world.

I was just recently a resident at Signature HealthCare at Hillcest in Owensboro Ky. I was admitted there for Rehab therapy due to a medical condition that had restricted my ability to move about on my own ,I recived Top Grade care from both the thearpists and the nursing,CNAs and staff at Hillcrest, I would highly recommend this place if you want good care and to be treated with both care and respect.

If I could give a lower score I would. This was the worst 3.5 month experience for our family member. Clogged sinks, unfit to eat meals, little to no care and the list goes on and on.. Just awful.

I do not suggest anyone putting Thier loved one in here

Everybody want amazing! The CNA,Nurses, and rehab were wonderful. I would definitely recommend coming here!

My mother has been a resident at Hillcrest for about 21 months. The receptionists are so kind and helpful when you call. The facility is clean. The hard working aids take good care of her and are pleasant to me. Her personal grooming is taken care of. The food is good and they accommodate her if she is served something she doesn’t like they offer her a different choice. The therapy department personnel encourages and assists her. The nurses address any medical issues. They communicate with family. The social worker meets with us several times a year to keep us informed. The ladies who work in recreation etc are just so kind and helpful. They go out of their way to help her. Hillcrest has been a blessing for us.

The building and staff are all amazing and they took wonderful care of my grandmother while she was there. I highly recommend this place over all others in Owensboro. A++

I’ve had the opportunity to spend a lot of time at Hillcrest visiting patients and even bring my dog into see patients to brighten there day the nurses and staff have always been so nice and helpful while I’m there they have always went above and beyond every time I’ve been there I would highly recommend using Hillcrest to care for your loved ones

Facility is very clean. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Residents receive excellent care.

If given the option of zero stars I would! Very unhappy with our experience with my mom. She was sent there for rehab from the hospital. The facility is very dated. The bathroom sink faucet was not even attached to the sink, I literally could move it up and down. Mom fell and had to have 12 stitches while in the rehab portion. She has advanced ALZ and was confused of her surroundings. After that fall, she was moved from the furthest room from the nurses station to one in close proximity. I will say that the staff on the rehab portion were nice and caring and did attempt to make interventions to help mom not fall again with the room change and frequent bed checks. I wish we had kept her there. She then was moved to the dementia unit. I would have preferred the rehab to them. She fell TWICE while there. She also has developed a pressure sore on her tailbone that is likely from being made to sit in a wheelchair all day long, sitting at a table in a small room with almost all other residents. They were packed in like sardines. Several instances my family and myself witnessed disrespectful interactions between staff and residents. When I asked nurses on dementia unit about mom and how she was doing, they were rude and short with me and did not show compassion or empathy in my concerns and made me feel like a bother as I had to make them look away from their phone to talk to me... Owners of this facility: 1)Spend some money to update this place 2)teach your staff to treat families and residents with respect 3)Get the residents engaged in activity and not just sitting in one spot all day and evening. 4)Peace out, I feel so sorry for those that are still there!! Shame on people who treat our sick and elderly this way.

Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest is the place I would entrust my loved one to. Right from the front desk throughout the entire building, you are greeted with a warm atmosphere making you feel welcome, and good about the care provided to the residents there. The staff all look genuinely happy to do their job always with smiles on their faces. The leadership team crown it all...there's not one who you talk to who's not happy to help or answer any questions directed to them, quite an exceptional group of people! The residents I saw all looked clean and content. I encourage y'all to check it out.

Excellent LTC Home! I have been an eyewitness to caring, loving Staff who are true Resident Advocates! I have had family members and friends reside in this facility and they were provided Excellent Nursing care.

This Building is Fantastic. Visited last week with my family, and was Greatly impressed! The Facility Smelled Wonderful, was cleaned and the Staff was Fantastic! Every employee that saw me spoke and asked if they could help us. Breath of Fresh Air and definitely a stress relief from our worry.

I love that Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest starts each day with prayer for the residents and staff. The staff are very dedicated and caring professionals that strive to do their best each day.

Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest is one of the most caring and well maintained long term care facilities. From its incredible nursing team to the most diligent housekeeping staff, I can proudly say that I thoroughly enjoy being a part a team that puts the residents first in every aspect.

My mother has been there for therapy several times. Now she is long term care. She is alert and would absolutely tell us if she was not happy about something. The care is excellent. The rooms could use some updating but good care is the most important.

1 Star cause I can't give less. I had several issues with the rehab wing. after confronting staff, a few problems corrected.. Staff needs to communicate with each other.. Service is very very slow, Glad we got dad out of this facility. thanks to one lonely PT employee, that actual was caring.

A great facility full of loving, compassionate, and empathetic staff. The room was very clean and spacious for my aunt. Everyone made her feel welcome and at home. Would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Absolutely a wonderful facility. We had a family friend here. One of the cleanest and friendliest facilities we have seen. The staff was very kind and helpful. The administration team was very knowledgeable and was able to address any concerns we had. Would 100% recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you for the excellent customer service!!!!
