My Husband and I have lived here going on 2 years. The community is well maintained and SP is always looking for ways to improve. Union SP has the friendliest, supportive, most professional directors. The "family atmosphere" is here and everyone is one big happy Family. That is why we chose our beautiful apartment, with a beautiful sunset view. The other facilities we visited didn't have residents who appeared as happy as Union-SP. The activities include a variety for everyone. If you don't see what you want, just mention it to Clinton and he makes it happen. There are big seasonal events which include the Community. SP Union is recognized all over our Boone County, KY in the most positive ways. Come get old with us and feel younger every day, in this resort atmosphere.

Our experience at Story Point has been great!!! If you are considering resident living please check them out . Story point in Union has great rooms very well lighted, nice big windows, bathrooms are big & kitchen area has plenty of cabinets. The food is fabulous!!! They have a great chef & crew to serve you your three meals a day!!! Activities are endless!!! They come up with things that I had no idea was a holiday or something to celebrate. Never a dull moment at Story Point. They treat you like family. They really do, very considerate, will accommodate you what ever your need is. They think of everything!!! Need to come & ask about or if they have a referral program that will get your attention!!!! A great place!!!

The staff was amazing from the directors all the way down to the people in the kitchen. They were always so helpful with my mom and took such good care of her. They made her feel like she was a part of their family. I could not say enough good things about story point my mom stayed there until she passed away And I would recommend it to anyone looking.

I think this is the most greatest place to live. My husband died a couple of months ago. But I’m going to stay here because I have made so many friends here. And you couldn’t ask for a better staff.

StoryPoint Union is an excellent place to live. The staff is friendly and helpful, residents are welcoming, and the food is delicious and includes a nice variety of choices. Our apartment has plenty of room, a good view and the facility is quiet in the living areas.

I love all the social content that Story Point has to offer. I am amazed at the Life Enrichment staff and programs and all that they offer to their seniors.

Story Point is a great place to live. It is a community that cares & provides so much. The food is great!! They have many choices, not always the same thing. A great variety never boring. Plus they have brunch/lunch on special occasions that you can invite your family. Entertainment is endless. They bring in different individuals to do card show, singer’s, piano players or dress everyone up for pictures. Always something going on. Check out Story Point!!

A tough decision was made two years ago to move our parents to Story Point! I can honestly say this place is Fantastic! It’s clean upscale and really serves my parents needs! From the 5 pm white tablecloth dinners to the amazing activities SP offers this place reassures me on a daily basis our decision was a good one! How satisfying it is to see my mom on FB participating in some many diverse activities and reassuring when my parents go out w us, they are worried about getting back in time for music/ bingo/ dinner etc… thank you SP for the assurance our parents are in a happy nurturing environment… we are grateful.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at StoryPoint Union. The activities here are truly outstanding — there’s always something fun and engaging happening, and it’s made such a difference in my father-in-law’s life. He’s become so much more social, making new friends and really enjoying himself every day. One of my favorite things is seeing the pictures posted to Facebook — his smile says it all. You can just tell how much he’s enjoying the events, the company, and the atmosphere. It warms our hearts knowing he’s in a place where he’s not just cared for, but thriving. The food is consistently good, the place is spotless, and there’s always something to look forward to. StoryPoint Union has given him a vibrant, connected lifestyle — and given us peace of mind. Truly grateful for this community!

Our mom is happy and enjoying her time at Story Point. It gives us peace of mind to have her in a safe and comfortable place. She has made it her home. She has met wonderful people, participates in the fun activities and even joined the choir group!

Great team, very receptive to needs! The meals are excellent and the wait staff are all very nice and know everyone’s name. The overall experience is great and we, along with the resident are very happy we chose StoryPoint!

We toured many facilities with Mom to be sure she felt comfortable and it felt like home. The most important quality for her was the food had to be good. We kept coming back to StoryPoint Union because the people were so nice and welcoming but the food was also good. The staff is responsive if Mom needs anything and they also do a great job of creating activities that are inclusive for everyone.

I feel like they could have a better system of letting families know activities that are going on. But they were very quick with responding to us. Excellent food!!!! My mother in law never complained about that. And the wait staff is absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, sweet, and they all get down to the residents level making sure the residents know what's on the menu and what they chose to eat. As far as fun events with food, but 4 as far as getting the assisted living residents involved in exercise activities. And maybe that's just not something they do? But I feel like having my MIL bounce a ball back and forth with other residents, etc would be nice. It's expensive, but if you can afford it, it's worth it.

Couldn't have hoped for a better facility or better staff than what we've experienced here. The thoughtfulness and genuine care for the residents, as well as family, friends, and community is top notch!

I moved here after the death of my husband and am enjoying the diversity of their activities. The Book Club and the Glee Club are my favorites.

Whether residents are looking to learn something new or simply have fun, Clinton goes above and beyond, every single day, to make it happen! Beyond the fantastic activities, the facility itself is well maintained, offering comfortable living spaces, excellent dining options , and a staff that genuinely cares about the well-being of each resident. For anyone looking for an independent living community that fosters connection, engagement and a high quality of life, I highly recommend StoryPoint Union!

StoryPoint Union is a beautiful facility and they took wonderful care of our mother. The staff was very friendly and showered our mother with attention. Our mother was in the Enhanced Care Unit and we were able to pick and choose what services our mother received to meet her specific and changing needs. There were regular activities planned for the assisted living side of the facility. However, many of these activities were not appropriate for the residents living on enhanced living side of the facility. They needed separate activities planned and specifically designed for the higher needs residents on the enhanced living side.

I didn't think Mom would be anywhere except in her home or with family. When we realized that she couldn't be in her home or with family, we toured several places and Story Point was by far the best. A wide range of activities for the residents, great food, and an awesome staff. The patience of the staff is very impressive.. from the young people who serve meals, Laurus handing out meds and assisting in anyway they can, front desk, cleaning and repairs, to the managerial staff.. they are all enthusiastic as well as exceptional. Little did i know that by choosing Story Point, Mom would be with family.. her Story Point family.

I never imagined my family could be comfortable having dad live anywhere but home. However, we reached a point where we could not provide the care at home that he needs. Dad was having memory issues and getting a bit unsteady on his feet. He also has diabetes. He certainly did not need to go to a traditional "nursing home", but we were concerned dad's health was taking a toll on mom's health too. We finally found Storypoint Union and this community has been such a blessing to our entire family! Dad is in the best physical and mental shape he has been in years... he is exercising, social and enjoying the very best cuisine! There are constant activities that are available but if he is not in the mood he just picks and chooses. I am grateful they have been so cautious during Covid, while using creativity to keep everyone moving. They had a car show and Grill outs for Father's Day and grandparents day, fun exercise classes, food tastings, art classes and a themed cart of fun for each holiday to deliver treats to those staying in their apartments. It's simply amazing. Every staff member is engaged, kind and willing to lend a hand. My sister and I made a pact that every decision we make for mom and dad must ensure that our parents can live with dignity and hopefully maintain the same lifestyle they worked so hard to provide our family. Thanks to the amazing staff and facilities at Storypoint Union, both of our parents are thriving now.

A more warm environment that gives the attributes of a family atmosphere home with people around that cares about them. Everyday activities still included in there life along with ones that might bring back memories of the past.

Been here 3 1/2 yrs now. The current wife enrichment team is great! Always planning activities that are so much fun. They are very helpful in all areas. Love them.

At first I was not sure I wanted to be in senior living but now I love it. We stay busy with many fun and different activities friendly staff and residents, we feel like family.

Very nice, I like the activities wish there was a little more after dinner. The people are great. Food is great love my apartment.

I'm so, so very glad my grandmother moved in here! Her quality of life has dramatically improved and she's happier, safer, and busier than she's been in years. She sings with the glee club, plays bingo, goes to church, learns crafts, and even ventures out on the occasional field trip. Last time I visited she said she was going to make goetta with the incredibly kind chefs and have a little dance lesson. I've been pleased with the staff from the top down... Brook has been a great communicator and clearly leads with kindness; Clinton makes all my grandmother's dreams come true in numerous ways, but especially by finding her favorite music from a century ago; and all the staff I've met over the last few years have treated my grandmother with patience and professionalism. My grandmother says it all the time... we all should be this lucky in our later years to have such a community.

Fabulous place for the seniors. Such wonderful staff and caring individuals. I love seeing all the things they have for loved ones. They truly go above and beyond for the needs of their residents. Definitely feels like home.

Great community feel and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Mom moved from Independent Living in FL but StoryPoint is so much nicer! Wonderful people, great food, lots of activities and entertainment. Convenient location too. The staff is responsive and very helpful. It’s been a great transition for my Mom.

What an amazing place!! My 75 year old mother moved in about ago. The transition was seamless. Many of the staff that are directors of their departments stopped by to let mom know what their services are. All of the staff are so kind and knowledgeable!! The dining areas are so fun!! The food is top notch!! I have even joined my mom for a couple meals. I can attest that the food is very good!! Everyone there has made mom feel so welcome and at home!! She has met new friends and participated in activities. She and her cat Lucy have settled in and are very happy!! Brook and Jennifer made the transition process so convenient.

Every staff member that I have met has been gracious and generous with offers of help. There are a wide variety of activities available, including several excursion opportunities each month. Upon entering the dining room for dinner, it feels like walking into an upscale restaurant. Residents can choose from several menu items each evening and the food is excellent! My mom often says that living a Storypoint is a lot like being on vacation!

StoryPoint Union is very nice, but the price is pretty steep for me. The food was good. Everything was just really nice. The facility was clean. The people there seemed to be happy. The tour was excellent. The staff answered all our questions and explained everything to us. It was very thorough. If I could get the price down a little bit, I would probably go in there whenever the time came.

I do not regret moving my MIL here. For the most part it's been awesome. We chose StoryPoint Union because of the fact that this seems like she can stay here and avoid a nursing home if she gets worse. We would be able to add more medical aid should the need arise. I think they are all fantastic. Just a couple newer aids seem less friendly. I think more exercise activity (something like sit and be fit) would be great. However, my MIL is really not a social person, so I can't say that it's all on the staff that she doesn't do much. Hope this isn't confusing. The dining room people are awesome. They get right down to the residents levels and make sure they understand what they want to order.

My mother in law is in the assisted living area of StoryPoint in Union. The Laurus staff is absolutely amazing. Any concerns we have are immediately addressed with tender, loving care. All of the staff is incredible. Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with my mother in law’s care. The food is amazing. She has only ever said good things about it. She sits with a group of sweet ladies who have taken her under their wings. The staff that waits on the dining room tables make sure the residents get what they want for meals. I’ve witnessed the staff get down right to the resident’s level and patiently make sure they get their dining order correct. There are plenty of activities and we are grateful my introverted mother in law is encouraged to participate in them. My mother in law’s room is large and beautiful. The housekeeping is impeccable…. I really can’t say enough about StoryPoint. We are so thankful it was recommended to us!

We have been extremely satisfied with Mom living in the Enhanced Living Wing at StoryPoint Union. Every caretaker who has interacted with Mom has been so caring and patient. The partnership with Laurus Home Health Care has allowed us to personalize Mom’s care. It is definitely not a “one-size-fits-all” facility. Mom arrived at StoryPoint very weak after undergoing a major surgery and a bout with Covid. She was underweight, wheelchair dependent, and needed two-person assist to transfer. She even needed to be fed at every meal. Fast forward five months and she is now feeding herself, walking short distances in her apartment with a walker, and only needs 1 person assist to transfer. We attribute her improved health to the loving caretakers at StoryPoint and the hard work of the in-house OT, PT, and Speech Therapy professionals.
