The Bungalows at Mayfield

We toured The Bungalows at Mayfield. Their personnel were very nice. We met one lady who's a resident there, and they care for her well. For a place like that to have just one room, it would be good for somebody who got rid of everything and just had that as their home. I would not eat in their dining room and put that on the lowest approvals. I can't eat on carpet floors. It did not smell good. The facility was new. It looked like it had just gone in a big circle so that somebody with memory problems wouldn't get too awfully lost before somebody could find them and bring them back to their unit, which was good.

I'm so glad my sister was able to find a place where she could be happy and satisfied. After a stroke, she she was unable to live alone. She was surprised, bewildered, and anxious about the future. The Bungalows has helped her adjust to her new situation.

Love this place, love working and coming to a community where everyone’s like family!

Always greeted with a smile upon walking in this community. You can see the joy on associates and residents faces that they are appreciated and taken care of. Great team that love hard and work hard. They have a waiting list for a reason.

The Bungalows is a great place. The residents are what makes my job great. Just seeing the residents smile and enjoy themselves makes it all worth it. If you ever need a place for your loved ones it would be great to see them smile and enjoy themselves. Laurie

Friendly atmosphere, wonderful residents and caring staff

It's been good so far my mom is doing good there. They keep her fed and gives her activities to do there is always something going on there.

My mother has been very happy and enjoys living at the Bungalows of Mayfield, she feels like it is home. A very nice place for seniors to live.

Super staff, wonderful facility

The Bungalows of Mayfield, like the town of Mayfield, experienced something on December 10, 2021, that no one ever wanted to live through. An EF4 tornado destroyed everything in its path but spared the Bungalows of Mayfield. The Bungalow's and the staff stayed with my loved one all night through one of the scariest nights. They never left them, meeting their needs before their own. As daylight came and the facility was without water and power, administrators and staff still met their needs and concerns. The staff quickly reached out to families with a plan to get them safely moved to another facility. While working through the night, to get them the best place that they could be together and have as "normal" as a transition, others worked to provide a breakfast for all and even made sure coffee came. Coffee is very important to those residents! We were able to come to the facility to be with our loved ones, help with any questions they had, and be another familiar face for them. We helped our loved ones pack for a few days and for those that the family could not get there, the staff went with each one and helped them get their familiar items together. The residents were incredibly understanding and resilient in this process because of the outstanding job of the staff. The director, administrators, and staff handled this terrible event with professionalism, grace, love, and understanding to our loved ones and for that, I am so grateful.

Wonderful residence for my family member. Staff is very caring and of Christian values, they encourage the residents to be independent and provide many activities for entertaining them. If your looking for a special place to provide attention and care for a loved one, then this is the one for them.

I am in and out of this assisted living home a lot for work. The staff is always very helpful and friendly to residents and visitors alike. They treat the people who live in the complex with dignity and respect. They are like a family and always willing to help out in times of need. The staff works hard to provide fun, meaningful activities there daily. Very clean atmosphere, delicious meals, and just a good place to live! Morningside is #1 in my book!

My mother is living at Mor inside if Mayfield. The staff are all very caring and take very good care of her and the other residents! I highly recommend Morningside if you need help caring for a loved one!

I do not stay at Morningside, but I did have an Uncle on my wife's side that stayed at Morningside in Mayfield some time back. From a family member point of view: my wife and I have no complaints. Pleasant atmosphere, good socialization opportunities, delecious well balanced meals (on time, therefore warm and tasty). House keeping was implacable and the building and grounds always well kept. There never was a need to spruce up for an inspection or family tour. The building was always in order and presented well. From a professional point of view, as a Physical Therapist Assistant: The staff have always been team players to assist the resident in maintaining their functional independance and personal interests. When I would discuss requests or ideas on a particular resident, the staff was always knowledgeable of the resident and the flow of information was easy and comfortable. The staff from the top to the bottom were always eager and receptive of any recomendations, suggestions or concerns. There is a good show of respect and mutual support to provide what is best for each individual in their care. If the need arises for placement, or a recommedation from family as to Assisted Living placement, hands down Morningdide of Mayfield would be my choice. Sincerly, Dennis Pierceall PTA.

Morningside is the most beautiful place i have ever seen and has very nice staff. The administrator is very efficient and is very well equipped with the skills to maintain his job. He always makes sure his staff is taken care of.

For 5 years, pur loved one was well cared for; great social environment; very clean; and caring professional staff.
