My mom was at Twinbrook for almost 2 years and we were very pleased. It is a small family owned community with wonderful caring staff. My mom loved living there and we were all sad she had to leave after her health deteriorated and she needed a higher level of care. We wish we would have moved mom there sooner as they made the transition to senior living very easy for her and she thrived there. Twinbrook is a hidden gem in Louisville and I would highly recommend it.

Twinbrook Assisted Living is a hidden gem in Louisville! It’s a very reasonable priced family owned Senior Care facility with caring and conscientious staff. It offers a Catholic mass 6 days a week. It has daily activities and transport to Dr appointments, grocery etc. Please check it out!

As expressed well by other writers, Twinbrook has been a wonderful place for Mom. The location is convenient and the setting seems quiet and peaceful. The facilities are always neat and clean but most impressive is the staff. From the owners and all through the ranks of employees, everyone has been great. They are genuinely kind and caring people and are clearly devoted to the residents. They go out of the way to be very helpful, making life more fun, pleasant and meaningful for all the residents including Mom. I can not think of a better place for her. If I were in need, I would live there myself. God blessed Louisville with Twinbrook. God bless the McCoys and all their staff as they live out their vocation.

There is no better place for a family member than Twinbrook Assisted Living Apartments. This family owned and operated facility is clean, well managed, and filled with loving employees. My father moved here after vacating our family home. He told the family he would give it 30 days, but within 2 days was happy & glad he had moved. Planned activities & delicious food kept him satisfied. He was well cared for by the loving staff who were so good to him. Recently, my sister was in need of a change in living arrangements & was happy to find an open apartment. She knew it was the perfect place for her too. Our family continues to recommend Twinbrook to anyone in need of assisted living.

We have had Ursuline Sisters living at Twinbrook Assisted Living since 2018. We are very pleased with Twinbrook. It is well-run with caring employees. The Twinbrook management has been exceptionally helpful and they communicate well with families.

The facility is semi-small and the staff really gets to know the residents and their families. They are always available to talk and offer insight and help in dealing with the constantly changing world of aging. And, Dad says the food is fantastic!

My mother has been a resident at Twinbrook for more than two years. It was a difficult decision for her to move from her home, but a very good decision. Mom is very happy at Twinbrook. She immediately felt welcomed and included. She enjoys the company and companionship of the other residents and staff, the many activities, the facility, and the food. The most amazing qualities of Twinbrook are the care, concern, and attentiveness of the management and staff. These people truly have a calling and make each resident feel like they are family. I highly recommend Twinbrook to others. Cathy (Scott) Oldiges

Twinbrook has been a wonderful place for my loved one. It's just the right size, with a caring and attentive staff. Because it is small, they are able to have close relationships with all the residents, and they know them very well. We are kept well informed of anything of concern, and the staff are always going above and beyond for our family member. I can't recommend Twinbrook enough!

I have only been at Twinbrook Hotel Apartments for about three weeks, but so far, I would recommend it. The staff are nice and helpful. And the property is clean.

If I could give Twinbrook a thousand star review I would. The staff are the most amazing people. They are so thoughtful and caring. Sometimes I cannot believe the wonderful things they do. When my mom was in the hospital several of the staff went to visit her on their own time. The owners and the director are so helpful and thoughtful. The staff really know the residents well and are always thoughtful to know their preferences. The residents are also friendly and caring. When my mom came back from the hospital everyone took special time to greet her and welcome her back. The staff all told me how much they missed her and were so happy she was back. I just cannot say enough about how wonderful twinbrook is is every way. Special thanks to Adrienne. She has been a star for me through every rough place my mom has gone through.

Twinbrook Assisted Living was a little older in construction, but very well taken care of. Ther residents were very neat and very clean. There are call buttons, and if they have trouble help is available. The lady that gave me the tour was very nice and she answered every question I had. They had a beauty shop, they had patios, and a patio area for ones that do not have a patio, they had family rooms that you could reserve for family dinners or parties.

Twinbrook was an older facility that was recently renovated but seemed dark to me. The rooms were nice, a good size, and had balconies. The menu seemed so-so. The staff was good, very knowledgeable, and very helpful.

We visited 8 "facilities" before deciding on Twinbrook. The #1 factor in the decision to choose Twinbrook for my mother was the staff. Unlike large corporate owned facilities, Twinbrook is family owned and the owners truly care and do much of the work themselves. Scott and Brad set the tone and hired professional highly courteous staff such as Adrienne in admissions, Jenny at the front desk, Joanne for programs and others. The kitchen staff not only cook very good food, they solicit input from the individual residents about their dietary needs and wants. Food is obviously crucial, so that was our #2 priority. The atmosphere at Twinbrook is very "homey", both the human atmosphere as well as the decor. This was priority #3, though hard to separate from #1. My mother feels much more comfortable in that setting than in some of the fancier facilities we saw. My mother was in a fancy independent living facility in Florida for several years before moving to Louisville so she was able to compare and know what she wants. The 1-bedroom unit that we chose has beautifully updated kitchen and bathroom and is spacious enough for my mother's many bookcases. In addition, the neighborhood is very good with easy access to 264 and 64. As frequent visitors, my brother and I feel comfortable visiting, parking, walking around, etc. If anyone is doing comprehensive research like we did, Twinbrook should definitely be on your short list for a visit. If possible, meet Scott or Brad the owner and you will understand why you feel at home at Twinbrook. I did not write this to gain favor. I am objectively reporting what we observed and why we chose Twinbrook after much research. Everyone needs to do their own due diligence.
