Valley Haven Personal Care Home

This place is a joke! They DO NOT watch the residents at all, they wonder all hours of the day and night. We have had residents from there try to come through our back door, once at around 3 am and once in broad daylight. They were seen pushing an air conditioner in our window to attempt to enter while we were gone. The lady that lives across the street has even had to screw her back door shut because she was having similar issues. My fiance and I both have went up there and talked to someone and were informed that pretty much, they can’t do anything. The place literally looks like an abandoned building, you rarely see vehicles there. Tbh I’d be ashamed to send anyone there, even a stranger. That old building isn’t fit for anyone to reside in. It’s sad to be honest. I know I wouldn’t want to live out the rest of my life there, so I damn sure wouldn’t send someone else too!!! Anyone with family there you should consider removing them. If you’re considering sending a loved one there, please don’t. They are wondering all hours of the night on dark rural roads and streets. Trying to open people’s doors, and something is going to end up happening to one of them. It’s sad for real!!!

Poor living conditions for the men. No personal hygiene.holes in floors and walls. No furniture. Not being taken care of at all
