Very rude on the phone

my brother and his family provided care for our mom for years including virtually 24/7 care for a year. It was very difficult for them to find a place that would provide memory care at the level mom needed and they wanted.Our Mother recently passed and from beginning to end her care and their caring was exceptional. We cannot thank them enough.

Nice place!!

My sister moved into Wellington Parc of Owensboro. I have no issues with them at all. They were good to her. They did an excellent job. They're very thorough, very friendly, and polite. It was a nice place. It kind of sits upon a ridge or a hill-like. The drive was about five hundred feet, I guess, from the highway. It was really quiet there and peaceful. Most facilities have their meals catered, but they make their own meals, and she loves their food. I talked to her when they were in the activity room, and she liked it.

Smells of urine and too many residents passed out in wheel chairs

My mother in law has been here for 6 months and it has been great for her. Staff keeps us informed on her condition and has regular meetings with the family. We feel very blessed to have her here so she can receive the care she needs.

I was very disappointed with help I ask for from associates, there are no trash-cans out side of the building!, I asked for help with my trash from my car, rang the door bell. NO help!

Fairly nice location. We are looking. It didnt blow anybody else away. Pretty normal. Clean. Friendly. Modern. But we plan to look around.

Clean with good employees

My grandmother handled all of the financial aspects of the nursing home so i do not know how expensive this one was compared to others. However, the staff was always very kind and courteous to the family that visited as well as my great grandmother. During the earlier visits my great grandmother still had enough mental capacity to carry on conversations. She never had any complaints regarding how the staff treated her. In fact i think she liked several of the nurses that took care of her. During her later years at the nursing home one of the side effects of the disease caused her to get out of bed and wander. During one of these instances she fell and broke here hip. The staff nursed her as best they could and took very good care of her. After her recovery she developed bed sores because she refused to get up out of bed. The nurses were always gentle and encouraging when treating the bed sores and getting her up to walk. According to my grandmother, my great grandmother always had clean sheets and she never went hungry when she decided it was time for her to eat.
