Unspecified · June 2025

Very nice family oriented environment

Unspecified · June 2025

This building is on the up and coming. The Facility Care Team Members and Management have the vision to push this building to be a 5 star building! The work is being put in and the best is yet to come.!

Unspecified · March 2025

This place is disgustingly gross!

Unspecified · March 2025

I'm a patient now and never thought I'd be so disappointed in my life. The quality of help, food, and a few other things is just appallingly by some standards. Sorry but I can't wait to get out of here and pray I don't ever have to return.

Unspecified · December 2024

This facility has a very bad odor , all nurses should been banned from cellular usage while working in the facility. They have a lack of work ethic bathing patients, (regardless of refusal) (due to being rough with the patients) The state law requires bathing either way so therefore I highly recommend a four or five star facility.. health care professionals must be compassionate about health care

Unspecified · November 2024

Only send someone here if you want them to suffer. Terrible staff that don't know what they're saying half the time. Was told my grandmother was perfectly fine and her illness according to them was all in her head. She died a week and a half later. Additionally my wife's grandmother had passed away years ago directly because of thier negligence. Between pnemonia going unnoticed for weeks to let a fall risk patient get up on thier own, leading to a serious decline directly caused by them. They're awful there, and again I cannot express enough, do not send your loved ones here.

Unspecified · September 2024

Well someone's families laundry is just sitting out in the rain Arrived and the head nurse was yelling at my mother in law. She hadn't had a bath in over a week. Had zero way of communicating with anyone. Was hung up on repeatedly when called to ask about her. When I asked to speak to the social worker I was told I could walk my ass to the front of the building and find her myself.

Unspecified · July 2024

You’re supposed to get a shower on Tuesday and Friday. This doesn’t happen and my mother in law went 11 days and 12 days without out a shower. She’s lucky if she gets one shower a week. You don’t get ice like you’re supposed to. There’s mice. They won’t change your bedding. It’s like a prison.

Absolutely horrible disgusting and sad place

Unspecified · June 2024

Frankfort Care and Rehabilitation is taking excellent care of my mother! All of the staff and care workers are friendly and professional! We are thankful for the excellent care they are providing for my mom!

Unspecified · June 2024

The Staff are very Nice and Respectful, Caring and I Highly Recommend This Rehab Care Facility to Any Family Lookin to Either Get Help for Themselves or for Their Family Members.

Unspecified · June 2024

This place smells horrible . My mother was in the same clothes for over a week . Her bandage on her arm is the same one when I was there Monday. Her bandages are half wrapped . Her bed sore is terrible . We have talked to her social worker and complained and their excuse is they are short staffed . Well then they need to stop taken people in.

Unspecified · May 2024

Thank you for the care you are giving my mother

Unspecified · December 2023

All the staff show my mother love and care. The nurses are Angels communicating with me anytime. I am comfortable and confident that my mother is receiving the greatest of care. Sincere thanks, from Charles Shouse

Unspecified · November 2023

The staff at Frankfort Care and Rehabilitation are amazing, all of them. My dad has been a resident there for the past few months and he is receiving excellent care.

Unspecified · September 2023

Nice friendly an professional nurses

Unspecified · September 2023

My mother was admitted for physical therapy. The entire FCR staff were very attentive and eased her transition from hospital to the facility. I recommend their skilled nursing facility for the care of your loved ones. ❤️

Unspecified · August 2023

Facility was clean, however nurses and aides are rude, inconsiderate of visitors and residents. Closing doors to their rooms because they dont "wanna listen to the hollering of a resident." The nurses and aides rarely answer call lights, and tend to the needs of their residents. Do better!!

Unspecified · May 2023

Although all business's are only as good as what and who they are working with, I will say that Frankfort Rehab & Care does a pretty good job taking care of their Patients !!!!!!!

Unspecified · February 2023

Welcoming to visitors.

Unspecified · October 2022

My brother is treated with great care.

Unspecified · August 2022

I am pleased with the care my husband received under this new ownership, much better than my mother’s care at the same facility in 2015. Management is impressive, capable and responsive to the needs of patients, and nursing staff could not have been kinder to my husband. I’m very grateful to FC&R and glad it’s here in Frankfort.

Unspecified · June 2022

Physical Therapy staff have professionally helped my friend walk again. This is huge. Front office staff have kept me up to date and informed of health care plans and progress. Thank you.

Unspecified · March 2022

Very professional

Unspecified · March 2022

I highly recommend this facility. The staff is a very hard working group of people that really care about the patients and their needs.

Unspecified · January 2022

top of the line rehab dept

Unspecified · December 2021

My brother is well taken care of at this facility. They try different ways to make him comfortable! Frances Thomas

Unspecified · November 2021

Very helpful and friendly staff

Unspecified · November 2021

Absolutely the best nursing home I’ve ever dealt with. Treated my grandfather with such love and care, even after he passed. Bob, Nurse Tracey & Shelley need a raise !

Unspecified · October 2021

My husband Kenneth litteral us very pleased with frankfort care and rehabilitation. Husband friend Mr Perkins is a resident there. Mr Perkins also said the food is very good. They are taking good care of Mr Perkins.

Unspecified · May 2021

So proud of the staff who work hard to take care of the residents at Frankfort!

Unspecified · February 2021

i called the CORPORATE OFFICE and filed a big ole report and filed a law suite aginst you all im calling them ever day 3 times till they fire her time to call corporate office again

Unspecified · December 2020

This is one of the worse nursing facilities I've ever worked at. The residents are not looked after. The lack of staff is a serious problem. Imagine being the only CNA in the building looking after 82 people along with agency nurses who have given the wrong medication sending a resident or 3 to the hospital. Doors being broken enough that they can't lock. Water being off for a whole day. Being told not to say anything about such incidents to state when questioned. This place should be closed down PERMINITLY.

Unspecified · January 2020

This place is terrible my aunt was there for a month for physical therapy i am her POA when it came time for discharge the office was calling the the wrong number when I told them that was not my number she told me it was when they sent her home they didn't send her home with her medicine they said they was calling in medicine and home Physical Therapy it's been over a week and she still has not had medicine or heard anything about in-home therapy she has been out of medicine for a week. When calling them today they said its because of the holidays. I definitely would not recommend this place for anybody

Unspecified · January 2020

The care of the patients and cleanliness of this facility is HORRIBLE! It's been sold again and current owners are worse than the last. They've hired a cleaning company, HealthCare Services Group, with their corporate office being in Pennsylvania, the housekeeping that are hired to clean don't do anything, my mother's room got so bad that my sister bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the room herself. The aides are young, very hateful and mean to the patients, most of the nurses don't want to do their job! Nursing facilities are homes to most , if not all, every Human Being that is in them, alot don't have families to make sure they're not mistreated! They didn't ask to be put in these facilities but for whatever reason they are in them., whether it be no family at all, they need specialized care, or family members have to work and cant stay home with them. But whatever the reason, NONE of the patients living in these facilities deserve to be mistreated..!

Unspecified · December 2019

My grandmother has been there a week. She is 79 and has cancer and a Dr there took away her pain medication that she's been on for over 20 years. She has been laying in agonising pain since yesterday. The family wasn't notified that her pain meds were being discontinued.Even a nurse that works there was concerned of her being taken of her pain meds. Now the doctor wants to give her Advil which she can't take because her kidneys have been shutting down for a couple of months now. She's 79 she's died at least 5 times, has a colostomy bag and has had cancer for years. That Doctor thinks she can do any rehab without pain meds he is mistaken. I no we have a opioid problem but not prescribing is not helping anyone especially the elderly trying to get better. Please don't take your loved one here if there in pain or has been in pain for years. Doctor should be ashamed and go back to school.

Unspecified · April 2019

Poor facility, nurses prefer to fight with each other then take care of patients. Its outdated food is horrible and nursenudont do their job. Would use a different facility.

Unspecified · March 2019

Went there for a visit with my grandpa and had a great experience. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. My grandpa appeared very happy with his treatment. Thanks!

Unspecified · January 2019

My father spent November and December there. The facilities are very dated and unsightly. The people on the other hand, are terrific. I need to make sure a shout out goes to Robin. She is a speech therapist there. She was a fantastic advocate for my dad and if you didn't know she worked there when you walked up to the two of them together, you would think she was his long time friend. I'm grateful she was there, and I hope when I'm old I bump into someone like her.

Unspecified · August 2018

My mother had rehab at Golden LivingCenter in Frankfort and it was good. However, the food was horrible and the place was dirty and smelled of urine. I had to get them to come in and clean my mom's room before I could even leave her in there. The staff did the best they could and nobody was mean to her. The rehab people were very nice.

Unspecified · March 2018

Excellent care! The facility is dated but well maintained and clean. The staff is super accommodating. I like that some menu items can be ordered at any time. Wish the rooms were a bit larger and beds updated but no major complaints at all!

Unspecified · July 2017

My Mom was in for Rehab. They were good with her even if she didn't like being there.

Unspecified · August 2016

I am in the rehab section of Golden LivingCenter - Frankfort. It's an older facility, but it's well-maintained and properly staffed. The nurses are excellent. If an issue comes up, medical or otherwise, they're quick to resolve it. There are two people in each room. The rehab facility is equipped with cable television. There are daily events to keep residents busy. They go on outings, church groups visit. They have bingo and exercise clubs. A beautician comes here to do women's hair.

Unspecified · February 2016

My mother is currently in the hospital because of a fall. She broke her hip and will need some therapy to get her strong enough to go home. My husband and I visited Bradford Square and Golden Living. The admissions director at Bradford took me into a room and drilled me questions. I felt like they were hiding something about their nursing home. Afterwards, I went to Golden Living. The admissions person immediately took me on a tour to show me around, she acknowledged residents by name and introduced me to the nurses. The rooms were small, but the therapy gym was huge. I was very pleased with the tour and felt like they were very transparent. Hopefully my mother can get a bed at this nursing home until she can go home again.

Unspecified · June 2014

My mom is now in Golden Living Centers. She's doing well, and she is actually where she needs to be. Honestly, my niece works at the nursing home area. So, by that relationship, we are very much aware of the nursing and the people that work in it. That pretty much is the main reason why we selected it. The biggest thing, actually, is the staff. In general, they are very caring. When she was initially placed there, we had meetings regularly to talk about how she was doing and how she was responding to the therapy that she was having at that time. They make you feel very comfortable and make you feel you are part of the actual staff there. They value our opinions. They are very accepting of both my mother and my family. They are very positive and supportive to me and my family. They take time to listen and answer all the questions that we have. The rooms are double, so they have two beds in a room. They tend to match the roommates. If they have an issue with one roommate, they are very open to move her to a different room. They offer a full range of therapy, whic is very extensive, and they offer a lot of services to her. So she is able to have as much therapy as she needs. She has speech and physical therapy. My mom is happy there, and that makes a big difference to us.

Unspecified · November 2012

I recently visited an old friend who is now a resident of the Golden Livingcenter located in Frankfort, Kentucky. It is an understatement to say that I was not very pleased with this facility what so ever. I was disappointed that my dear friend now lives in an establishment where people do not seem to care about him. That is exactly what I observed of this staff, they seemed to only care about getting a check and getting home to do their business. Several staff members were rude to not only my friend, but to me as well. I was trying to ask an aide a quick question, and she simply walked out of the room in the midst of me asking. I have never been anywhere that I felt more unwelcome, it was simply unreal. Furthermore, the rooms are very small to the point that it is uncomfortable to even move around. They are also dirty and poorly maintained, the whole place had a nasty oder to boot. I would not send anyone to this place and I hope that my friend will leave soon enough.

Unspecified · July 2012

Golden Living is one of the worst nursing homes I have even been in. It smells and they lie to family. When my father was in there I stopped by at different assorted times, and there was always some kind of problem going on.
