Reviews
for Friendship Towers
The planned activities are wonderful, games, bingo, Bible Study, exercise, arts and crafts. There are field trips they can sign up for, a nice bistro type area for snacks outside of mealtime, good food, can order whatever they want or have what's on the menu of the day. There are music performances just about every day with outside groups coming in. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dining room and activities rooms are outstanding with lots of space and windows.
Amazing staff and environment 5 stars for Hayden Jones Peyton
good
Great assistant living facility, the staff is accommodating and it's clean .
It was the best fit for my mother, the physical layout, the activities available, the friendly and caring people, easy communication access, it is close to my home, within our budget. I would recommend to others.
So well managed! It is a lovely place.
it's a lovely setting and the people are very friendly. The helpers are friendly and helpful.
I was at another facility who kept raising rent. my son started lookung for somewhere else to meet my needs. My son and his wife signed me up and said ,,"Mom, youre going to love it, and I do" I love the residents and all the entertainment. Everyone is so nice. My favorite thing about Friendship Towers is that I feel like I am at home. my family is always welcome.
I live there it's very nice!
Two of my friends moved into Sayre Christian a few months ago. They absolutely love it & so do I. Sometimes the move to a retirement home is full of sadness, but Sayre is different; it's a happy place, & they both love it. They are both in independent living apartments, & someone checks on them once or twice a day asks if you have taken your meds, & will come in to clean - if you want. You're not required to stay there 365 days a year either; my friends are on a 12 day trip right now. They have the facilities to age with you as your mobility decreases. It's a beautiful, vibrant place & though I'm a couple of decades away from needing a retirement home, this is definitely where I want to be when the time comes.
My tour experience at Friendship Towers was excellent but it's not exactly what we were looking for at the time. The facility was clean, not one of the best places I've been to, but it's nice. The staff that I met there were great. They had a lot of activities going on, they had a salon and also a library.
This was a good community. It just wasn't the right fit for my loved one.
My loved one has lived in both the ‘Heritage’ apartments at Friendship Towers and the ‘Expansion’ apartments, and she loves both. Both had unique features that she liked.
Muy completo, amplio y limpio, da gusto trabajar asi.
Sereno y agradable
The staff took care of my mother great 👍
As a resident of Friendship Towers for the past 7 months, Jim and I have been impressed with the love, activities, food and feeling of security provided by Sayre! You can have your privacy or be surrounded by friends and lively activities...there is always something to do (unless COVID thinks otherwise!). The staff is always open to new ideas and suggestions. The move was quite an adjustment but has been the best decision for us.
My mother moved into Sayre Friendship Towers over 4 years ago and she is so 'Blessed'. The staff and the care that they give to her is 'Amazing'. She usually will say to me 2 to 3 times a week that she "wouldn't be alive if she hadn't moved into Sayre". We are so thankful that she is enjoying her 'Golden Years' in her beautiful apartment with the other residents and the wonderful people on staff there. Thank you!!!!
Great place to visit family and friends!!!
Friendship Towers at SCV is a really special place. There is no limit to the kindness and graciousness of the sweet staff, which I think is even more amazing when I consider how challenging this pandemic experience has been for so many during the past year. I am thankful for their compassionate, friendly, and loving care.
My mother loves it here. They again got an award for 2020.
My mom moved here from out of state. I found out that you don’t just move someone and you’re done. The folks on the staff were helpful in helping me figure it all out! My mom was very content living at Friendship Towers and very well cared for. She eventually thought that she was “home” and that I was the one who moved back home to be closer to her!
I am an entertainer and I have served at Friendship Towers for several years now. My completely honest opinion of this place is that if my parents were still around I would love for them to live here. It is a warm and cozy environment with truly wonderful people working there who genuinely care about the residents. Many senior living facilities have a very high personnel turnover rate but not here. That in itself speaks volumes for Friendship Towers. There is a contentment with the staff and residents that is so rare and refreshing. Anyone looking for a great place for mom and dad or grandma and grandpa to enjoy their golden years, I highly recommend Friendship Towers at Sayre Christian Village!
I have had the pleasure of seeing the care that Friendship Towers gives to their residents. The staff truly cares for the residents and their families. They have fun, engaging activities and the residents feel a great sense of community. A wonderful place for seniors to thrive!
After visiting a variety of locations in the Lexington area, I walked into the lobby of Friendship Towers (the Assisted Living Building at Sayre Christian Village) and I knew that THIS was the place where I wanted my mother to live. During her 1 and 1/2 years of living there, she felt loved and cared for and needed. Soon after moving in, she decided that her "job" was to play the piano in the main lobby every evening for 30 minutes. Even when playing Christmas carols in August, the staff and other residents were receptive and appreciative of her playing. Not having children myself, I was the ultimate worried "parent". All of the staff members, from Dining to Housekeeping to RAs to Activities to Maintenance, were kind and patient with ME as I adjusted to this new season in my mother's life. They were always willing to offer advice or a listening ear or a hug (thank goodness it was pre-Covid!) when I was overwhelmed by the changes in my mother due to her dementia. I am honestly not sure how I would have managed with out Sayre and their staff !!!
The staff is friendly, and the place always has something going on for the residents. Very active, and I appreciate that. The spiritual services offered are a wonderful surprise. Highly respect Friendship Towers.
Friendship Towers at Sayre Christian Village is the best retirement community in the Bluegrass. They have beautiful facilities and all staff are motivated to provide the best care for the residents they serve. I believe they are motivated by their mission. I would highly recommend Friendship Towers to everyone!"
I would highly recommend Friendship Towers because they do everything they can to meet the needs of the residents. Their staff is truly devoted to serving the residents well.
I love the care that is taken for the residents, they offer so many activities. I love being able to see videos such a “deer hunting” on Facebook. I have loved the pen pal program that has allowed me to learn from the wisdom of these folks. At Christmas I loved seeing the different beautiful hand made crafts. I am thankful for how serious they took the covid crisis and how they continued to care not only for the physical body but the spiritual life of everyone as well.
I believe that Friendship Towers will exceed all others in care and programs. It is Christian based and strives to reflect Jesus in its operations. Gary Coleman
What a wonderful faith based complex that is non profit with Christian values. It is a wonderful place to spend your senior years with excellent facilities. I would encourage you to visit the location to get the real feeling of home.
I was able to view the new (almost completed) dining and gathering areas at Friendship Towers earlier this week. Wow! What a wonderful facility for all of our friendship tower residents to enjoy with each other and with visiting family and freinds. Can't wait for the final completion date to arrive soon.
John at the front desk is awesome!! Staff really care about the residents and take great care of them. My mom is very happy there.
Friendship Towers Independent and assisted living provides a safe and worry free environment. It’s the ideal senior living establishment!
A very close friend of ours lives here now and we're so grateful this place exists. He's very well taken care of and loves being there. The staff is excellent and it's a good community. Clean and well kept. The surrounding campus is nice too, and it's in a decent neighborhood. We're very happy with it.
We moved my grandmother in here and these people (the staff) are awesome. They are so good with the residents and so kind. All sorts of activities, good food, and my grandmother loves it. She is making all sorts of friends and really loves it. W we're expecting her to want toove back to her house but she loves ot there. And it is all due to how lovely the staff treats them. This place is a heaven sent place. God bless all of Sayre Christian Village. Those people are working miracles.
My Grandmother stays here and she loves it.
Very conscientious folks
We were there for the Moravian love Feast service. The service started at 6:30 p.m., and it was dark. We had to use electronic candles because of restrictions on open flames in the building. An electronic keyboard was brought in and it worked very well in the room.
[Removed] was delightful! She was very understanding and personable, answering all of the questions I had. I liked the facility and what it offers very much. I can picture my mother living here and liking it.
It’s a wonderful place. I fell that the cost of the place isn’t important but “Sayre Christian Village” happened to be one of the lowest cost in Lexington and I did a lot of checking out. I love the atmosphere it feels safe. The food is very good and the grounds are well kept. I actually help do the music program that they offer.
