Reviews
for Hartland Park Health & Rehabilitation (formerly Northpoint Lexington Healthcare Center)
I truly couldn't have asked for better care from the staff at this facility! Every question that I have had has been answered timely. Not only was the care and customer service phenomenal, but the facility was clean, and the food was actually better than I have seen at other rehab facilities which was a huge plus! I am especially grateful for the nursing staff and the therapy team.
My uncle had been in the hospital for a long time and I was nervous about them going to a nursing rehab facility with a trach but they took amazing care of him! Therapy has him up and moving and the respiratory therapist is helping him start talking and breathing better. Big thanks to all the amazing people at Hartland Park!
the receptionist is very nice person they call he Big Mama
We enjoyed our visit and loved the facilities and would like to place my wife there
Nice facility
Very clean and beautiful loddy, ground and little parks the residents can enjoy. Staff was great, very helpful and all around wonderful!!
So friendly and kind! The staff makes you feel warmly welcomed. They are doing their calling!
NP is very accommodating to my mother. Older building but good care.
Es increíble las personas y la atención
Awesome place. I loved how friendly everyone is there . I'm glad my sister is in good hands!
Susanne was very helpful
very clean and nice place! love that it does not smell like urine when you walk through the doors and the staff is always friendly!
All good, everyone was pleasant and facility was clean and good.
Place is very clean and festive for all the residents
The rooms were clean. The building is secure. The nurse that came to talk to my mother-in-law was kind here. The residents in the dining room seemed happy and content. They brought her tray while we were there. The food looked good.
Great home. Staff is awesome!
Great people work here!
Very nice people. Very bad odor though.
My sister was here for over six months recovering from a broken ankle. She is mostly nonverbal, so a somewhat challenging patient. The Northpoint nursing, medical, therapy, dietary and housekeeping staff all treated her with compassion, patience and care. They quickly earned her trust, and she responded well to physical therapy. They have alsoalso supportive of me, including me in care teleconferences and communicating with me electronically. When I first toured NP, I was really impressed with the way the staff interacted with each other. I could tell then that they operated as a team. My mother spent her last months at a much fancier facility with private rooms, but the care was nowhere near as skilled and caring as what my has sister received at Northpoint. A big thank you to all of you.
Security was amazing. Settled many fears I had. Met several nuses, food service staff and all had smiles and our questions were all answered. The facility itself was so clean, I was impresseed. Would recommend Northpoint to anyone needing to have a loved one in need of a nursing home for a loved one.
As a new visitor, I found the place to be pleasant. There was plenty of staff within sight and helpful. It is somewhat of a cheerful environment. Most impressive to me, call ringers were not going off.
Appeared to be a wonderful atmosphere with lots of activity and really compassionate care. First time I’ve seen tears of joy rather than desperation on my sweethearts face for several months… she’s been trying to find a caring place for her mom with advanced dementia. Hopefully this will work out beyond expectations!
I was there for a year and a half Admimidtrator was communing lied to me and tried to manipulate me to sogm over my house to them. I didn’t give in so she bad mouthed me other nursing homes as a trouble maker. Which was a lie I was friendly had quite a few friends was friendly with staff but she stilll tried to con me into giving her/them money So I finally gave her my social security check Every month and she still is trying to threaten me with being sued I’m in wheelchair limited income Administrator was horribly manipulative So go there if you think for yourself otherwise stay where you are The food sucked no variety they didn’t adhere to diabetic meals for me
Overall satisfied with Co-workers and residents, they are the best!!
My husband moved to Northpoint/lexington Healthcare Center. Me and my kids have been very pleased with the way they've taken care of him, and he is pleased with them, too. The food could be a little tastier from what he says, but that's all. Everything else seems to be excellent. So, I would recommend them at this point but he hasn't been there very long. The staff are all extremely nice.
Like the security North Pointe has.
This was my first tour in my search for a Long Term Care home for my mother who has Dementia. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the friendliness of all the employees I met and the seniors that reside there looked well cared for and happy. Suzanne and April were very friendly and made me feel at ease about the tough decision I have to make.
Staff is nice that I've met. Thank you for lunch. Pizza was very good.
We took a tour of Northpoint this afternoon, it was clean, the staff was excellent and very helpful. We would love for our loved one to be able to live in their community!
We moved Dad from out of state which is difficult for anyone let alone someone with dementia. The Northpoint staff has worked with us every step of the way. The staff on the Amelia unit are kind and caring. Great job! Thank you for all you do!❤️
They are so good to my cousin and she is doing a lot better
I provide a service in this facility each year. Every time I come into this building, I find it clean, residents well taken care of and the workers always seem to be so kind to all of the folks❤️
The atmosphere was nice with friendly staff. It was very clean and smelled good and clean. I love this place.
Every time I visit my mother, she complains about the food and I have seen it for myself. It has to be the most grossest menu compiled daily by people that have no clue about what good food is supposed to taste like. This is not it. My mother is supposed to be eating healthy food and from what I've seen, it's not fit to be even served in jail to inmates. She's not gaining weight and complains that she's hungry every time I see her. Even her roommate said that the food is gross. The kitchen employees have no idea how to cook or season food properly. The sandwiches and bread is mushy, like wet and is not edible in my opinion. The burgers are dry and overcooked and it's totally not acceptable. Need to put more money into better food and a better staff to prepare it.
Carolyn, aka Big Mama, at the front desk is heaven sent. She is kind, and is the face of the facility. She made us feel like family while my mother-in-law was there. And she is family to us. You can’t teach, and you can’t train the goodness she possesses. She is a jewel.
You all are an embarrassment
The employees here are top notch! Great service from each of them!
Staff was very nice and facility was nice and clean.
Visiting a friend all the staff was helpful and polite. They acknowledged my friend coming down hallway. Very welcoming visit.
This is moms Google but either way to her the food is gross but really it wasn’t that bad and the people are very nice really have not heard her complain about anything so far they have wonderful activities and church she goes to church makes me happy. She is truly giving it a shot. My sister and my BIL both said it was a very nice facility and I agree it is a very nice facility
During my most recent visit, the receptionist was very friendly, and the aides and nurses I met seemed competent and kind.
Our choir was about 30 minutes late due to a debacle at a local restaurant with low staff. Yet your staff AND residents were kind & patient with us, & staff helped residents to concert in large numbers! Thanks for great PR!
Clean, friendly, conscientious and friendly staff.
It was a very pleasant experience when I visited norhpoint . A very nice place and nice employees. I'm very glad that my family member is in such a nice place . Thank you to all for making my visit to North point a pleasant experience and for taking such good care of my family member !
I hav had several friends that were at Northpoint. I was very satisfied and impressed at how well they were taken care of.
The weekend crew are awesome very informative about our loved one and take the best care of him that we could ask for!!!
Kind and caring employees! Clean and well kept.
Pleasant / attentive staff. Very clean facility.
Awesome! Love that my mother is in a secure facility!
What a joke all about the money. Never filed care insurance correctly. Even Humana and the State of Kentucky Sent letters not corrected to date and the collections agencies yells at me !Never return calls or emails oh wait they don't do correspondence by email. Then they turn you over to collections. Uncle was supposed to be rehab and they list him as long term - looses 45 lbs in 2 months and that's normal. Time to get State involved!
