Mayfair Village holds a very special place in my heart. When I first stepped onto the property 6 years ago my first impression was “what a hidden gem…a beautiful little oasis”. I have worked in senior living communities for 23 years and Mayfair was by far my favorite. What is the “Mayfair difference”? It is family… this is the only independently owned facility in the region… no corporate giant- and you may not realize but that makes all the difference in the world. Thus the atmosphere is family from the residents to the staff. There is a lot of love and genuine care and compassion that surrounds this building. The coi pond, the patio and greenhouse on the roof all add to the special ambiance. Lastly I have to mention the food- when employees eat the food every day you know its good!
I always enjoy my time visiting Mayfair Village. The residents are always involved in various activities and having so much fun. You always feel welcome when you visit and it is truly a place you can call home.
My father recently arrived at the point of needing some assistance in his daily living. We visited a number of assisted living facilities in the Lexington area and it readily became apparent to us that Mayfair Village was the best choice. The staff and amenities are the best. Everyone is professional and friendly. Meals and activities are unsurpassed. We recently enjoyed Easter brunch with him in main dining room. The food was fabulous and atmosphere was delightful. If you’re considering exploring assisted or independent living options for your loved one, you should visit Mayfair Village. You won’t be disappointed.
This is the quiet place. I've ever lived. And the living is easy. My room is cleaned. My meals are prepared served by lovely people. I have no need for car. There are fun entertainment planned. I was content by all. We have a new director and that is a 100% improvement.
I absolutely love Mayfair! Amanda and Kelly are phenomenal! The people are amazing they really do care for community! Everyone is filled with Joy in this place all the way down to the concierge! The older folks are cool! The most joyful people I’ve been around in months! I love it here! ❤️

I can not recommend Mayfair Village enough! My Father recently moved there to assisted living after a fall. The care he receives is exemplary! The best staff in Lexington! Dad says the food is wonderful, he has even gained weight! Not easy for a 98 year old! Kelly and Amanda are amazing communicators. Always a timely response either via text or a phone call. Wish we had considered MV sooner!
My mother recently moved to Mayfair Village Retirement Community, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her transition. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, taking the time to get to know each resident and their family members. Kelly and Amanda have cultivated a warm, engaging environment where seniors can maintain their independence while enjoying a true sense of community. With a diverse range of activities, residents have plenty of opportunities to socialize and enjoy each other’s company. My mother constantly praises the delicious meals and enjoys dining with fellow residents who have been exceptionally inclusive. Knowing she is happy, safe, and thriving at Mayfair Village gives us immense peace of mind. We truly feel we found the perfect place for her.

My family has been involved with Mayfair Village for close to two decades. My parents were residents and now I have a cousin living at the Village. The staff has always been very accommodating and kind, the building is carefully maintained, clean, conveniently located, and the meals are well prepared and delicious. I don’t know what else one could ask for?
At Mayfair, Kelly and Amanda care so very deeply for their residents. They treat them like family. As the daughter of a resident, I have peace knowing these ladies are there over seeing my mother's 'home' in my and my sister's absence.
I also have to completement the other staff members, as well as the other residents. They are all so very welcoming and inclusive. They are genuinely happy to have you a part of the community.
My sister and I could not be more pleased, or highly recommend, Mayfair, Kelly and Amanda!
Senior living options can be more rigid than our loved ones want or need. Mayfair Village sets a helpful baseline and allows us to include caregivers for our family members’ specific needs. I really appreciate that!

It’s really a nice place from the front desk to the marketing director Terri Peach, to the Personal care administrator Teresa . I highly recommend Mayfair Village if you’re looking for a place for your love one. This is a special place for special people.

I am the Executive Director and have been delivering the best in food service, activities, living assistance for 24 years with the management staff along side me for most of those years. Mayfair Village is a great place to be, with very nice facilities, awesome staff, and a great atmosphere to be around. The food is very exquisite and a delightful experience like no other. Mayfair Village is a lovely place.

Unspecified · February 2022 My mother is in Mayfair Village right now, and is very happy there, it's just they don't have the level of care that she needs. It's extremely well managed and it's clean. The food service is good, and the staff is excellent. I can't say enough good things about it. They have several activities, but she didn't participate. With the pandemic, they've been very cautious and very strict. Based on the conditions, they have adjusted nicely.
The staff is always pleasant when I visit and the front desk is helpful and knows who my grandmother is. The building is always kept very clean and there is a nice garden on one of the upper floors that I like to sit outside and visit with my grandmother on. The activities hosted by the building also keeps my grandmother busy and gives her something to do more than sit in her room and watch television. I have had lunch in the dining facility that they have and the food is of reasonable quality but nothing to write home about. They do also have trips to the city and various other parts of town such as the arboretum to take the residents who are still reasonably mobile. They also offer an indoor parking garage which allows my grandmother access to her car still even though she is no longer in her own home. They also have emergency call systems in the rooms of my grandmother's apartment, although I question how useful they are if she was to fall in a part of the room not beside the call string. Overall she and I am satisfied with the care she receives and she will continue to reside there even once her health declines to a less manageable level.
