Unspecified · January 2025 I been in 3 nursing homes so far and I will say that Ridgeway is 100 percent the worst ever. They never answer your buzzer. They never dump your urinal.
Unspecified · November 2024 As my family struggled with the very difficult decision for making nursing home placement for my father in the hospital, admissions staff visited with my father and family. While we had several options for placement, we chose Ridgeway. The admission coordinator indicated she would complete the necessary paperwork and expected transfer to the facility in a few days. Three days later, we were notified that they did not have a bed. In this very difficult and stressful time, the lack of integrity by this facility caused delays in my father’s transfer and increased confusion and anxiety for my father. I expected far more from a placement who should be acutely aware of the impact this might have on the patient, his family and the transferring hospital. To those of you reading reviews as you seek placement for your loved one… I wouldn’t trust this one!

-They have no staff. The majority is working there through a temp agency.
-It takes HOURS to get anything done.
-Their solution to all issues is “we’ll give them some medication….”

My mom has been there a year now and can't walk due to breaking her ankles due to seizures. They stopped her therapy and are very unprofessional. When she needs to use the restroom she buzzes her buzzer to alert them but it takes hours for them to get to her so she ends up going to the bathroom on herself. THEY ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL....and I'm surprised the state is still letting them be open....They are over drugging my mom and just a horrible company... this place needs to be shut down!!!
Everyone there was kind and helpful to my 86 year old mother. After a 2 week rehab stay she had nothing but positive experiences. Attentive staff, good food and effective rehab services.
As of now we have good things to say. Our grandmother would not move in with us and decided to go to Ridgeway. It's been hard during covid not seeing her but they let us speak to her and see her on Skype when we want to. Since we have gotten to go they are friendly and she says they take very good care of her.
Unspecified · September 2020 Very unprofessional! Couldn’t return phone calls after I was told someone would call back after the meeting. Also the doctor sent a referral like they asked me to do and I still haven’t heard back from them. It’s been over a month maybe going on 2 months.
Unspecified · December 2019 My mother is now in Ridgeway Nursing & Rehab. The place is very nice and very clean, there's no nursing home smell and you don't smell pee everywhere you go. They have a very professional staff. The place itself is older but they are really good with their patients, and it's a really well maintained. My brother and sister ate at their cafeteria and said they have really good food. Their staff members are really caring, they take time with patients and the patient's family, they're with them every step of the way, and that's what we're looking for. Everything about the place smells fresh, the bathrooms are clean, and overall it's just a really nice place. They've done a really good job.

Unspecified · September 2017 If there was a way to give 0 stars I would have given that rating. RUN--do not put your loved one here if you want them to live for any length of time. The facility looks nice at first inspection, but personal care is poor. They overmedicate to get cooperation from the patients. They are very slow to follow up on requests for changes in treatments or testing. They allow patients to sit in stool long enough to become septic with UTI and then run them back to the hospital for treatment. Too late for us...and we were monitoring care almost daily. Negative patient outcomes if you get my drift.
