Vitality Living St. Matthews

Mark and the whole team over there really do a great job. My mother was reluctant to move-in at first, but now she says “I should have done this sooner!” So many fun activities, great dining room, and a bunch of truly caring staff. There is a difference between caring “for someone” and caring “about someone”, and the folks there at St. Matthews genuinely care about all of their residents. Truly a top-notch place there!" I wouldn’t trust anyone else with Mom!

My visit was very nice. Every body concerned went out of their way to amend me comfortable and cared for. I would definitely consider them if I need someplace to go.

My father was a resident at Vitality St. Matthews, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff provided excellent care, not only focusing on his health but also on preserving his dignity, which was incredibly important to us. Everyone we interacted with was compassionate, attentive, and professional. I highly recommend Vitality St. Matthews for anyone looking for quality elder care in a supportive and respectful environment.

The manager and staff at this place are OFF THE CHARTS GREAT! It is critical to find a place for our parents where we can trust the staff to take care of people with grace, compassion and honesty. My mom is blessed to be a resident of this facility. We HIGHLY recommend Vitality Living St. Matthews.

She passed away on [date removed]. Vitality was very good. Would recommend them highly to the elderly that aren't suffering from severe dementia and can do things for themselves. It's a family atmosphere. The staff have mostly been there for several years and genuinely care about the residents and their families.

What I liked best about Vitality Living St. Matthews was that they had something called an ambassador program, wherein the residents that had been living there would try to befriend and kind of show the new residents around. And I thought that was nice. It was smaller than the other place I looked at, so they were not able to offer as many amenities. The gym was very small; there were 2 pieces of equipment and it was also in a shared space, like an activities room. They did have a nice courtyard there and they had a lot of activities like games, crafts, and cooking classes. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was located near 2 two shopping malls down the street. Restaurants galore, anything and everything you'd want were very close by.

They treated us very well and was very helpful transitioning Mom to her new home. The location and the price was good for that facility.

They have a done great job with my grandmother. Great. My family is so impressed and thankful

I've always taken care of my physical well being, exercise, etc. and never thought I would live in assisted living but I feel very comfortable at St.Matthews. It's very comfortable and relaxed, with a warm atmosphere. There are a lot of things available to do and the staff is very caring and friendly.

I liked the fact that Vitality Living St. Matthews seemed to care about their residents. I visited their assisted living. They have a refrigerator and microwave in the room that I saw. The staff that showed me around was very personable. I had a meal and it was pretty good. They also have exercises and different activities.

We came to Atria St Matthews after an unpleasant experience at another facility and Atria is beyond exceptional. They really care about the residents. Any concerns we have are addressed immediately, When mom fell, they checked on her throughout the day. The activities director is amazing and the Director and administrators are exceptional, they always make time for you immediately, no matter how busy they are. They have an awesome driver that will take you anywhere you need to go, especially appointments. We have been more than pleased with Atria, now Vitality Sr Living, at St Matthews. If your looking for a well kept, clean facility with an amazing staff, they are the ones to call. We love it at Vitality St Matthews.

I liked it and the staff was nice, but I liked how the facility was set up. They had activities that were suitable for people of my mother's age group. The staff was very nice, she gave me a little gift when I left. She was very nice, very helpful, and very knowledgeable about trying to understand how they can create a program for my mother. It was very creative.

I thought it was really good, knowing that they have both continuity of care and longevity of their caregivers. The shower, though, had too big of a ledge for her to step over, and she's not able to do that. It would be very difficult and it would be a risk, but overall the tour went very well. I mainly talked to the administrator, who took me around and was very nice and very knowledgeable. They showed me several different places and apartments. It had everything that every other place has. Although it's an older building, it looked spruced up on the inside and really good. They had physical therapy, bingo, and things like that. Their location is in the heart of St. Matthews, so it's also good. There are a lot of different things around, and it's not too far away from residential areas.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. The community is very neat and clean and the staff was very friendly and shared a lot of great information. The tour was well done and They answered all our questions.

They are bringing the activities back, and our loved ones apartment is very nice, clean and the people are very attentive. Our loved ones are very happy with where they are at, and we know they are getting good care which is the most important thing to us. However sometimes the food is a little repetitive.

It is a very attractively designed community that is clean. The community is comfortable. The residents and staff are very friendly. The rooms feel bright, and like a regular apartment.

This is a very welcoming place. My profession takes me in and out of many assisted living facilities and this one definitely has a warm, homey feel. The staff is engaging and has the best interest of their residents in mind. Warm, clean, and welcoming - such a wonderful place to be!

Atria St. Matthews has welcomed our family and my grandmother with open arms. I love visiting her there! The staff is attentive to her and Atria gives her a place to feel safe and comfortable. She couldn't have landed anywhere better than Atria!

My father came to Louisville for a respite vacation. We chose the Atria St Matthews because it was close to my home. It turned out to be a wonderful choice. The care staff is wonderful. They responded to all my father's needs and went beyond the care level the contract required. They addressed all issues with bodily functions with empathy. My father just passed and we hired outside 24 care to make him safe and comfortable. The Atria staff still checked on my father hourly and provided the caregivers all the help they needed. We and the Atria's management staff planned for the decline in my father's health. All their suggestions for his care provided by the Atria and the outside service which they recommended exceeded my expectations. My father passed with diginity in a caring loving environment.

Atria St Matthews has been wonderful for my father who moved in about six months ago. Ada was very responsive to our needs and made it easy to make the decision to go with Atria. The community provides an active schedule that my dad takes advantage of on a daily basis. He speaks highly of the staff and the other residents. The place is very clean and modern and his apartment has everything that he needs. We could not be happier with Atria St Matthews.

The Atria St Matthews community and the team have been a perfect fit for my mom and us. Although she has only been there a few months the community has embraced her and supported us through some challenging times. The team is very responsive and caring, and the facility is clean and accommodating. As a resident at Atria St Matthews mom is able to make the most of each day!

We liked this community when we visited. We appreciated the administrator. We liked the location and the community was nice looking. My loved ones just liked another community a little better.

I'am really enjoying my time here at this community. It is a very nice place. I'am at the community for their respite service, and everything has gone very well. Everyone here is wonderful. The staff is great, they are very helpful, and friendly. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the facility. I've made some new friends, and it has been a lovely experience. I would return back to this community if needed.

I have only good things to say about Atria. My conversation and tour of the facility with [Removed] was very helpful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They interacted well with the clients. I had lunch with a friend from church who is a resident. The food was good and there were nice choices. I have decided it isn't the right place for my mom because of her declining physical strength.

I can't say anything bad about the place. They have a nice community and the staff seem to be very attentive. They just did not offer the care that mom needed. I would recommend this community to my friends.

Atria in St. Matthews has been a real blessing for our family. It is certainly pricey, (but I think most places are). If you are financially able, I think it is money well spent. The staff members at all levels are courteous and really seem to care about the residents. The other residents have been warm and welcoming, and the food is great. It is very stressful to move a loved one from home into assisted living, but it is MUCH easier for everyone involved when they get to move into such a nice place.

Our experience with Atria St. Matthews has only been a brief one, but so far we're very pleased with them! It's a nice looking place, and the people seem very friendly. We've got no complaints!

The staff at Atria really do care about the patients. The food is always delicious and cleanliness is great.

I can not really speak to anything that they can improve on over at the Atria St. Matthews. All of the staff members were really friendly and accommodating to my loved one while he was staying there though.

The grounds at Atria St. Matthews were really nice. My ability to come and go to visit was very convenient. I could come in any time and see her. The complaint that I would have is they talked about implementing all these services and that never happened before she died. Part of the implementation was getting therapies so she could get stronger so she could get a bath. 2 or 3 weeks in they decided she would just get sponge baths. When she went in the hospital 2 or 3 days before she died it was clear she wasn't getting cleaned in a lot of areas. It was too late to be talking about all that. If they realized that they couldn't fully bathe her they should have sponge bathed her a lot sooner. Other than that I think things would have been pretty good there. I think the were responsive for the most part and things would have been good if she would have lived longer. When she died they were very caring.

At Atria St. Matthews I have been pleased with the overall atmosphere. It is warm and friendly. The staff are doing a good job of reaching out to the senior citizens. The lady in charge of this facility recently moved to another facility. They are in a transition period now. When she left there was kind of a hole. The intent is there. When the administration is fixed things will get better.

I really appreciate them for letting me stay a few days later than I should have. My father had passed and I needed a place to regroup. The staff was really great. The food and location was good. I just appreciate their kindness to me. The director's name was very nice. The financial worker there, was very nice as well. I would recommend the Atria St. Mathews to anyone..

We've had a very good experience overall with Atria, and things seem to be going well for my loved one at Atria St. Matthews. Our search was a somewhat difficult one, as we had multiple siblings searching in multiple states. However, Atria understood what a difficult task things could be and really helped facilitate things, even going so far as to make sure that whatever deals we were offered at one Atria facility would be honored at any of the others we looked at in other states. They really bent over backwards to make sure the move went smoothly when we decided on one, and they've been very communicative and helpful ever since!

A very nice place. There is a lot of activities. They also visit the parks. They are excellent people. The room is appropriate for my fathers needs. The care givers are extremely caring. They seem to have personal interests in the residents. The meals are very good and prepared very well. There is always a variety. Its fresh and nutritious. They even went out of their way to make my father a specialty hot chocolate.

Fantastic. The staff is excellent. The activities are good. My mother is starting to adjust quite well. This is a Very loved organization. They are very interested in their residents. I would definitely recommend the Atria St. Matthews. This is a great community. 5 stars!

My mother just loves it at Atria St. Matthews! They watch her closely and take really good care of her and, and are great working with her memory issues. She is much more active there and is very happy.

I would feel very comfortable recommending them to anyone. My loved ones haven’t used any of the medical services. The staff is very friendly, very concerned about individuals staying there. They respond very quickly to any requests. The staff knew their names right away and they connect me with them. I feel like it’s very safe place and that they could get help very quickly if needed.

I was impressed that as we toured, the sales manager knew all the names of the residents. From maintenance to dining to reception, all personnel are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They have a great way to ease the worries of us knew to the experience of family members in assisted living. They have answered questions and been most supportive. The facility is utilitarian and pretty. The food and activities are wonderful.

This is the community we selected for my in-laws, and they have been absolutely wonderful. It is a beautiful community, and they keep it looking very clean and well kept. The services and activities they provide for the residents were everything we were hoping for. The employees themselves have all been very caring and helpful.

I really liked the atmosphere of Atria. It had the homey feel that I got from Stonecreek that I think Mom will like.

Nice community/pleasant atmosphere and presentation. The location was in a busier than prefered intersection. Memory care was not an option .

Excellent facility. Transportation resources here and other Atria the best.
