Unspecified · February 2026 Love the beehive homes best place to bring your mom or dad to stay that!!!
Unspecified · February 2026 When I had to find a place for my parent very suddenly, at a time when I was extremely overwhelmed and right at the threshold of the holidays, Beehive's Membership Director stepped up with the best attitude: 'I can help you with that!' I toured three places, and Beehive was the only one that felt like a true home. They helped me with working out all the details between the hospital and medication and everything else, and were able to get her a room immediately and it was even furnished so she could move right in. When I visit, the residents are always sitting together in the common room, watching TV or doing activities. It always smells of whatever yummy thing they're cooking, and it's warm and cozy there. Mom tells me every time we talk how happy she is to be there. I will be forever grateful for how BeeHive came to our rescue in a time of need. Cannot recommend it highly enough. It truly is a little family there.
Unspecified · January 2026 Beautiful place. Family oriented, lots of love with all our Residents. Great staff. Food, Activities are always fun. Directors do a fantastic job with all they do.
Unspecified · January 2026 Beehive Homes of Lyndon is a small loving assisted living home. The staff is loving and caring. The care is above and beyond.
Unspecified · January 2026 When the need arose for a more convenient assisted living place for my brother, I called Bee Hive in Lyndon. I had a couple friends whose parents had lived there and they were very pleased with the homey atmosphere and attention their loved one had received. My brother is treated like a member of their family and the staff genuinely cares for him and caters to his meal preferences. We found the best possible spot for him and for me living close by!
Unspecified · January 2026 This is best place ever. I love the staff.
Unspecified · January 2026 Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Residents seem very happy.
Unspecified · January 2026 We’ve been ecstatic about the level of care and loving attitude with our loved one at Lyndon. They constantly go “above and beyond” on a daily basis.
Unspecified · January 2026 BeeHive Homes of Lyndon is a beautiful home.
Unspecified · October 2022 I really like my tour of BeeHive Homes of Louisville/Lyndon. It was a very comfortable, warm, and homey setting. The residents seemed very happy and well taken care of. The room that I saw was unfurnished, but it was spacious and clean. The dining area looked nice and very family oriented.
The Beehive is a small community assisted living home. The level of care they provide is top notch. When you enter the home you will quickly notice the beehive is a home not a typical assisted living facility. They keep the residents engaged and active. They are very good at providing you with information with your loved ones. I couldn't be happier with my grandmother who is staying there. They do a wonderful job with her and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend anyone who has a family member that has reached this point in their life to come check out Beehive and see if it's a good fit for your loved ones.
Unspecified · August 2021 We loved BeeHive Homes of Lyndon. It's a wonderful place. It was smaller and I would give them an excellent review. We had a friend that was there for several years and they just raved about it. The room was lovely. Everything was nice and clean, and the staff was wonderful and very attentive. I walked in and I just immediately loved it. There were also many activities and they had the director there that does it all.
Hidden gem in a crowded market of large industrial facilities- small, hands on and great caregivers who actually spend time with the residents.
Locally owned and operated ( which is rare in the Louisville area) the team does a great job!
The management and the team is horrible. I was there visiting my aunt and I heard Star and her daughter yelling and cursing in front of the residents. Totally unprofessional
Acquaintance · September 2017 My mother was at the Lyndon Bee Hive Assisted Living and it was wonderful. All the staff were aware of each individuals' problems, likes and dislikes. They offered games to stimulate the residents and also T.V. exercise class each morning after breakfast. Also, about every 2 weeks they would have an entertainer to sing, play music and involve the residents. Some would even dance. It was small, only about 14 residents, very clean, good meals and much like "home". I would highly recommend this "Bee Hive". The owners are very caring and work well with the staff.
This is simply one of the best assisted living facilities you could ask for. The owners, Michele and Michael Allen are omnipresent, warm and welcoming. They know their residents and families very well and strive to make each resident's experience as personal as possible. There is excellent access for families wishing to visit and residents may come and go with family at any time. The BeeHIve feels much more like a shared home than an assisted living facility. Each resident has their own living space with their own furniture bathroom and personal items. There are several shared spaces including an open-concept living room, family room and dining room. There are daily exercise, games and entertainment offerings. The wonderful caregiver staff is extremely capable and has very little turnover. The staff know and care about the residents and it shows. They provide three home-cooked meals a day and assistance with medications, housekeeping and laundry services (all included in the very reasonable price). The BeeHive is small with only 14-15 residents at a time so the residents, families and staff know each other well. The building and grounds are very well kept and each holiday, birthday and special occasion is celebrated. We could not have asked for a better environment for my father or our family!
Sounds good but is too far away.
