Unspecified · January 2026 I wish the people in healthcare would actually treat their patients like human beings. I went to visit a family member, and when I tried to wake him up, his eyes were matted shut and he couldn’t even open them. No one should ever be left like that, and it honestly broke my heart to see.
This facility for the resident here make sure the resident are alway happy and took care of. This place has activities that employees does with the resident. The nurses are very caring and make sure ...
clean place, workers are really nice.
Great facility, great staff, great administration.
Great Rehabilitation Department. Work well with residents and staff!!
Unspecified · February 2025 If I could give no stars I would. My grandmother has fell so many times due to negligence. None of the staff communicate with family members in a timely manner or we have to hear from the hospital that she’s there and we didn’t even know she got hurt at this nursing home. They need to be shut down or retrained. There’s no reason for this kind of neglect to go on. I’m a CNA and I would never treat my clients how they have treated theirs.

Unspecified · November 2023 Cumberland Valley Manor has the most loving and exceptional staff any facility could have! From the administration down- they are a loving, compassionate team! You could not ask for a more knowledgeable and caring staff to care for your family!

Unspecified · November 2023 My dad was in the facility for 2 1/2 years and we were very pleased with the care he was shown. Very kind and caring workers and staff. Thank you for the love and committment you shown my family during that time.
Unspecified · November 2023 Many caring staff members! I love seeing all the activities they post on Facebook.
Unspecified · September 2023 I am posting this for my MIL
"My mother will be 100 years old in November. She is a retired Kentucky school teacher and a Home Town Hero. She truly deserved it.
My mother has been in Cumberland Valley Manor for 6 weeks. It has been a difficult transition. I met with managers August 1, August 17 (at case conference), and September 13. No one at any time mentioned a rate increase. A letter received September 13th mentioned a mandatory rate increase of 50% per day to begin on October 1st. This increase jumped the daily cost from $180.00 to $270.00 per day.
I called and spoke with the manager on September 14th. I asked, “Why didn’t you tell me yesterday about the rate increase? Mama is private pay and we can not afford this much of an increase so soon”.
The reply was, “I’ll give you social services so you can arrange a transfer by October 1st”.
If Signature imposes a 50% increase per day after only 6 weeks, how do we know Signature won’t impose another 50% increase after an additional 6 weeks? Why is this not done on a yearly basis like other care facilities? Why was there no warning of a pending increase on August 1, August 17, or September 13, when I was meeting with Signature administration and signing paperwork for my mother’s care?
Also, to transfer my mother to a new facility would be devastating. She is just starting to get adjusted to the staff, people, and facility here in Burkesville."
Unspecified · November 2022 My first time calling to get in touch with a family member was terrible. I wasn't sure which station I needed so I pushed button 4 (for all other calls) it sent me to station 1 and the lady who answered was very rude. I asked if she could put me through to my family member and she got snappy saying " this is station one, you need to go to station two. It tells you this on the automated message. You actually need to call on the cordless phone" (like I know which phone I'm freakin' calling) She wouldn't even let me tell her my apologies as she kept running her mouth as if I ruined her whole day! Let me just say that the automated message does NOT tell you what each station does so I didn't know what station I needed. So she puts me through to station two and the nicer woman told me I need to call a complete different number (I'm guessing the cordless phone) I really hope that the folks that live there don't get treated the way that lady at station one treated me.
Unspecified · August 2021 I did not get to see to much. At this location. But what I did see, was that it was professional.
