Dogwood Estates is where my sister has lived for 3 1/2 years. I love how caring the staff is and all the available activities. You can do as little or as much as you like.
The staff treats everyone with respect and ensures their dignity.
Plus, this is in her home town! I highly recommend checking into this assisted living if you or someone is ready for a little help in life.

The staff is so friendly and loving, the food is awesome, and the other people who live here are very welcoming. The price is well below other facilities we've looked at. Dogwood just has a warm, family homestead feel. When I get to a point in my life where I need a little help and don't want to cook or clean or do my own laundry anymore, this is the place where I'm going to live.

Unspecified · February 2026 Dogwood Estates has gone above and beyond what I expected when we were looking for my mom's next home. I visited multiple senior communities when we started our search and there is not a better one than Dogwood that we could have found. From my first tour and visit, I could tell the community was very clean and everyone living there seemed to really love it there. But now that my mom has lived there over a year, I have experienced it is so much more! I truly believe that Dogwood Estates not only improved my mom's quality of life, but they also extended her life time. Her every need is cared for, but most importantly she is happy and feels loved there by the staff - the directors, the owners and each person who is involved in her care - and by the friends she has made as well. Thank you to each and every person at Dogwood Estates from the bottom of my heart!!

I tell people it is more like a bed and breakfast than assisted living. The management and staff treat the residents just like family. They have activities for them everyday like crafts, painting, games and theme parties. They have three delicious meals a day and snacks in between meals. I would recommend this place for anyone.

Unspecified · January 2026 Mike and I became Dogwood residents 7 months ago with no regrets…. I had been on our church visitation team at Dogwood and enjoyed seeing our folks. One day my mother decided to come with me to visit and before we left… she had signed to move in… REALLY!
We decided to join her about three years later and make life easier for the 3 of us. As we both are approaching 70 we are living the “Good Life “.

Activities are so important and they enjoy having fun!!! I can’t say enough. Just so thankful that my dad was able to live there ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍.

Recently visited Dogwood Estates and can not brag or quite find the words to express what a blessing this place is for those struggling with what to do with their loved ones when they need assistant in daily living. Dogwood provides this and more. Professional, trained leadership and training to provide for medical, mental, and emotional support, but just as important, love, care, and support for each resident and their families. Oh... the food is amazing! Family...Please put me there when my time comes!
