Metcalfe Health Care Center

My family recently had a loved one stay here, and it felt like a home from the second we entered the building. Right away the staff made us feel welcome and reassured of what each day would entail and spent the time going over this for numerous people who kept asking from our family. The nursing staff and therapy team built specific recovery plan and adjusted it based on our input to ensure the best outcome. One thing that stood out was how genuinely caring the staff are. They took the time to get to know us and we saw how everyone living there was treated as you would expect in your own home. Anytime we visited, our loved their room was clean, and we got constant updates on the their weekly progress. The Nursing Home has private rooms which we were lucky enough to get, and the staff constantly checked in throughout each hour of the day. We are very grateful to the team at Metcalfe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the compassion and support they showed our family. I would definitely recommend this facility to others looking for a place for their family to go for short term rehab or if they need long term care.

Needs better management. Like most nursing homes. No one cares any more . They don't think they are going to get old. Government acts like they are concerned but their mom and dad aren't in a n.home .
