Great facility, lovely and lively residents!!

Our community is small, everyone knows everyone and everywhere you go seems like home. Signature did NOT waver the opportunity to step up and be “home” when we needed it. That’s their house and all is welcomed in. Professional, on point, knows what their doing, what measures need to be taken to assure their residents have/know they’re loved and their wellbeing is the staff’s number one priority. From explaining the steps to recovery through their extremely knowledgeable PT Dept to guiding us through the stages of death; they made it all comfortable. In the community I live in we Helping Hands a nonprofit-nongovernmental organization we serve 169 elders outside of SC; we are in and out on all levels of recovery, life and death. Their loving and compassionate staff even made a very uncomfortable confrontation between family members peaceful. That takes “grit.” I have no clue what any of them make per their income from SC but I guarantee it’s NOT enough. To say they go beyond their job description is a huge understatement. One call is all it takes for an entire team from welcome desk, nurse, aids, janitorial, SW, NP, PT, financial advisors, the list goes on and on. They take the weight off your shoulders and let you take care of what’s most important, your loved one. Thank you SC for always being there for Helping Hands of OC

Physical Therapy Dept is the best all the staff best people I have ever met. In my life and I love all!!

My father-in-law is in there right now - but will be coming home soon. These folks have taken very good care of him. He was in rough shape when he arrived - but with the care he has received - his recovery has been amazing. Everyone treats you like family.

Love the beauty shop and new beautician Lottie Sanchez, she brought my hair back to life. AMAZING BEAUTICAN!

When I entered the place smelled Clean. You know when you enter the nursing home that smells that hits. I never got that smell. Everyone was very nice and the residents were kind and accepting. Lottie is the beautician that opened the salon and she is super sweet and talented in her craft. Residents would come door and talk to us while she was doing my hair. She stopped and gave each resident her full attention and answered all of their questions and made them appointments. A few just wanted to hang out and watch. Lottie has such a big heart and is so kind. Her talent when comes to hair is like no one’s I have ever seen. You will Not leave her chair unhappy. I am so happy I found Lottie you will be too!!

I visited the hair salon this morning and had my hair appointment . We were visited by multiple residents talking about their fresh haircuts and how good they feel. They were so proud. Haircuts and styles, fresh shaves, they loved it. As someone who worked in a nursing home for 14 years they clearly enjoyed having this service back. One resident in particular loved just sitting and talking with us while I got my hair done. The outside interaction really lifts their spirits. They lifted mine as well. What a great day at the hair Salon! Thank you Lottie Sanchez and Signature Healthcare and residents for welcoming us in to your home. ♥️

This is an older facility so you may think ahh I’m not sure about this. Well the staff here are great, the care is too. My Husband spent about 7 months here and he was happy. The staff did not wait for him to have a problem they were good at anticipating his needs. They all seemed to go that extra step to see to his emotional and physical well being. I can’t say enough about this staff. Another. place they excelled was communication, I was always told about any changes in condition, medications etc promptly and my calls and questions were answered right away. And finally they made it easier for me to deal with this time in our lives. They were open and supportive about his condition and what to expect! So…Thank you all! Judy M. Wells

Great facility that is clean . Staff are knowledgeable and very caring!

I have been here at the facility almost 3 months. It is a wonderful facility that has done so much for me. I truly feel that I would not be alive today if it wasn't for them. I would also like to shout out to my favorite nurse, Dawn Harris. She has the best personality, always upbeat and happy goes above and beyond and always answer any and all question that me or my family has had. If she doesn't have the answer she will find out and ALWAYS return with update.

If it gave me the option for no star that would be my option. My grandmother was here and they have lost all of her belongings. When asked they don't know where her stuff went. The nurses stay on the phone, instead of worrying about the patients. My grandmother's roommate sat in her own feces for over 2 hours this place is ridiculous!

So far so good, I have a great feeling about the care of this place! Everyone is so caring also understanding! I love this place!

The administrator, Amanda Gilbert, is great. From the admission to even now, she's very helpful and always answers all of my questions. The night shift staff in his hall are great with my grandpa. He can be quite stubborn when he wants to be, he doesn't mean to be, he has alzheimer's. Night shift, especially Maria and Hannah, know just how to handle him to get him to cooperate!

The staff and care at Signature are both A+. It’s like a family. The care and support provided goes above and beyond. Residents are made to feel special and loved. We have recommended Signature to several families who are in need of care for their loved ones.

I love seeing how much the staff loves their residents. At my last visit, I saw the therapist sing to an elder to brighten her day!

The team of staff at Signature of Hartford R O C K S! They care for the residents there as if it they were their own family. Facility was clean, and the staff was VERY friendly/welcoming! A wonderful facility all around!

A True Homelike Environment where laughter was heard and love was shared. Facility was clean, Staff very friendly and I was greeted by each staff member I saw.

I am so impressed with the facility team at Hartford. They recently went deficiency free on their annual health inspection. I was lucky to be there that week to see a team who does things for the right reasons and who cares for the residents there, as if it they were their own family members. What an amazing facility!

This place is truly a wonder! My grandma was here precovid, and still happily residing here right in the middle of it, and its truly amazing to have seen the staff from both sides. So much has changed, but the excellent care and the passion to do everything they can to make her feel at home, loved, and taken care of is all the same. From top to bottom, there is no better family to care for your family than the one at Signature Healthcare in Hartford.

I think each resident should have their own room , a two person room is to crowded .

Most amazing place. The leadership truly loves there residents! They just had an almost perfect state survey!! FIVE STARS!!!

The only nursing home I've ever been in that doesn't have an odor. Very pleasant and friendly staff.

This Building is a Beacon of Hope for the Community and Families! The Staff at Hartford are Caring and always have the Residents Care Always at the Forefront!!! Building is Clean and is Odor free, doesn't feel like a Nursing Facility

Our mom has been a resident of SHCH for almost 3 years and we couldn’t be happier with her care. There is an immediate “family like” atmosphere between the staff, residents and visitors. Mom’s quality of life has improved more than we ever could have hoped for. We can’t imagine trusting her long term care to any other facility!

The “family-like” atmosphere is apparent as soon as you enter their doors. The facility is now called Signature Healthcare of Hartford.

I visited this facility today. Clean and welcoming. I had the opportunity to speak with several family members and elders who expressed satisfaction with the care being given at this facility. Staff are friendly and positive about their work environment.
