for Morning Pointe of Lexington-East
I wanna just give a big shoutout to all the ra’s cna’s the director on how great morning point has becoming keep up the great team work and a special shout out to Rick on keeping things together
Very good!
Morning Pointe is one of the most beautiful Senior living facilities I've been in, beautiful Art work and Gorgeous pictures of Old historical Home viewed throughout the Hall ways, friendly staff that Care about their work....10/10 ..
The very first time I walked into this assisted living, I was so impressed. The people there are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the facility itself is very clean and well-maintained. It’s clear that residents are cared for with attention and compassion. If I knew someone who was looking for a place like this, I would definitely recommend checking it out.
ED and DON has been so helpful since being here. Everyone is great, welcoming and caring, Maintenance guy has fixed any issues when brought to his attention, Residents tell me how much they appreciate him for actually listening to them and fixing things. Chloe is so amazing with activities for the residents they can’t wait to go down for whatever she has planned for the day.
Management of this facility is not a welcoming group especially when you have concerns. I have brought the same issue to their attention on numerous occasions and requested aomething to be fixed or repaired and was told everytime it has been fixed this has gone in for months with no avail. I have found Administration lying to face about the issue being completed and replaced when very blatantly it has not been taken care ofthia gives off grave concern of their integrity.
I am so impressed with the hospitality and dedication of the staff at Morning Pointe of Lexington-East. It takes a special kind of person to work in senior care, and the team here is filled with kind, patient, and highly trained professionals. They provide fantastic communication and create a genuinely joyful atmosphere for the residents. For anyone exploring assisted living facilities in Lexington, this community offers an incredible value and total peace of mind knowing your loved one is in great hands.
Administration was extremely nice, very understanding. Chloe's awesome. She makes sure to engage with everyone. Rick is very friendly. Overall, great place with great people
Just moved a family member in and it’s been a wonderful experience. They have taken such good care of our grandpa.
Michael is very sweet and always does his job with a smile! He is very welcoming and respectful and he never fails to make me laugh!
This place is truly amazing. Danielle, Rick, and their entire team were nothing but kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Not only to me, but to all of the residents as well. They offer such a wide variety of unique and engaging activities that keep residents involved, social, and having fun. The apartments are beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to really feel like home. The entire community has such a warm, homey, and friendly atmosphere, you can feel it the moment you walk through the doors. What stood out to me the most was how attentive and compassionate the staff are. You can tell they truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they interact with every resident. The residents looked happy, well cared for, and treated with so much dignity and respect. It gave me so much peace of mind seeing the level of care and community they’ve created here. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and loving environment for their loved one.
My mom stays here. Its truly been a great experience.
Morning Pointe is such a great community! It's family, couldn't be more proud to be a part of Morning Pointe Community!!!
I have a family member that has been a resident at Morning Point for three years. The care that she has received has been outstanding. Every faucet of of their Organization from the staff, food and medical service has been tremendous. Frank S.
I was visiting friends of the family and noticed at least 10 ladies with beautiful hair styles. I decided to go into the salon to inqure about the service and possibly set an appointment for myself. After speaking to the salon beautician (Linda Milford), I decided to make an appointment. I loved her professionalism, she answered all my questions, her experience, the atmosphere was welcoming.
Linda Milford was amazing! Very helpful, very thorough with our consultation. She gives exactly what you ask for. She makes you feel so confident and ready for the world! She’s very patient and got everybody together!
I had a wonderful experience speaking with Danielle at Morning Pointe of Lexington East regarding possible next-step placement for my loved one. She was incredibly kind, patient, empathetic, and understanding during our conversation. Danielle took the time to listen to my concerns, answered my questions thoughtfully, and made what can be a very overwhelming process feel much more manageable.
The nurses and program directors go above and beyond every single day. Their compassion, dedication, and attention to detail truly make a difference for the residents and their families. Knowing our loved one is surrounded by people who genuinely care brings us constant comfort and peace of mind.
This snowstorm makes anyone nervous, but it has caused us even more concern with my mother being away from us. The Morning Pointe staff has given our family so much reassurance during this time. I spoke with my mother just a few moments ago, and she spoke so highly of the Morning Pointe team. She even shared that many staff members are staying overnight to ensure everyone is safe and well cared for. Finding a place like this is hard, and finding people who genuinely care is even harder. Hats off to the Morning Pointe team—you are doing an amazing job.
I may be a little biased (since this is my wife), but seeing her completely in her element with these residents means everything to me. As the Life Enrichment Director, she puts her whole heart into everything she does. She talks about the residents as if they are our own family, and it shows in the care, love, and dedication she brings every day. I’m incredibly thankful she found a place where she feels like she’s part of a family while creating that same feeling for the residents.
The staff Danielle and Chloe are absolutely wonderful. They treat my grandmother with such dignity and kindness. They are truly patient and take the time to listen to her needs. I feel so relieved knowing she is in such caring hands. Also, Morning Pointe is a great partner for me as a Home Care Consultant with Home Instead.
I have visited the community recently and have noticed an improvement in the building. I found out that there is a new maintenance director and saw him cleaning the carpets ….he stays on the go making sure the building is in top shape for the residents. I actually stopped him recently because the friend I was visiting had a leak in her apartment. He stopped what he was doing and ran to take care of the leak. The maintenance director cares for the building as it it were his own. The residents are very lucky to have a director take such good care of their home! I noticed a lot more residents have been coming to activities too! I haven’t met the new life enrichment director yet but I can see she is already making an impact in the residents’ lives. The new executive director seems to be getting the right people ….. they are caring and diligent at their jobs.
You have an amazing addition to your team!! Your new Director of Maintenance Mike Neville is always on the go making sure the building is taken care of. He goes above and beyond not only helping other employees but helping residents as well. Mike’s work ethic and teamwork are a rare find. As a veteran to senior living his passion for working with seniors is evident from the moment he walks through the door in the mornings for work. He takes the time to not only talk to residents but to also talk to their families. It takes a kind hearted, compassionate individual to work in senior living and you have one of the best!!!
I’ve had nothing but the most amazing experience at Morning Pointe Lexington East. My ex-wife is taken care of by the best staff imaginable. I have been a business man for a long time and this is what you want to have when you’re looking to place a loved one in a community. The memory care unit is wonderful. It always looks and smells good. Brianna is always giving me updates daily and keeping Jo entertained with crafts, games, and baking. I love how she takes Jo and the other residents out every week somewhere new and fun. Brianna goes above and beyond with giving me and our kids the peace and comfort of knowing she’s being well taken care of. I couldn’t be more blessed to call Morning Pointe her home. I hope Brianna knows how great of a job she does everyday. Morning Pointe is lucky to have a person like Brianna on their team.
My mother has been a resident at Morning Pointe for over 6 years. I am so pleased with the care she receives there. Brittany Anderson, the activities director is a truly special person. She goes above and beyond making all residents lives better. She really cares.
What an amazing place!!! Clean, friendly, professional, and caring are just a few ways to describe the people and facilities at Morning Pointe Lexington East. My dad receives outstanding care and help here. His apartment is always clean and his laundry done. He adores the staff and medical care team. Upon move in, he was frequently checked on and asked how he could be helped (by multiple people). They even introduced him to other residents so he has never had to eat alone. The activities have kept him entertained and socializing with his new pals. He loves that the staff call him Mr. Dave and treat him like an old friend. There are so many wonderful people working at MPLE. I couldn’t be happier with our decision to keep my dad independent with a little help from MP.
I would like to take a few minutes to talk about what an asset Brittany, the Activities Director is to my father. My dad is Bill and he loves when Brittany is working. She will come and get him to participate in the activities and can get him to do things that truly surprises his family. We are so appreciative of her efforts with him and know that she is a strong part of his recovery. She is an asset to all of the Clients of Morning Point -East.
I very rarely if ever post reviews on social media but I felt compelled this afternoon to single out one of the staff members at morning pointe east, Brittany Anderson. Brittany, as many know, is the activities director at morning pointe. Simply put, she is the best staff member I have ever had the pleasure of knowing at any rehab or assisted living facility that has taken care of my mother. Every day when I get there she has a new activity that goes from after lunch to dinner, especially holiday themed events, regardless of how small or large the holiday is. For example, they were making melted snowmen (custard) it’s today. The smile on my mothers face when Brittany walks into the room says it all. Thank you Brittany for all you do. My best, Scott Dykes
I moved my mom to Morning Pointe East four months ago. It was the best decision ever. Brittany, the Activities Director, keeps her busy from chair exercieses to using her mind to play Bingo. The Resident's Assistants make her feel so welcome and help her in so many ways, espeically Ruby, who spoils her and Chelsea. She enjoys the other residents and loves the food. I also appreciate Shelby, who has been able to answer all my financial questions. I am so thankful for Morning Pointe East!!!
I cannot even put into words how special this community is and how amazing the staff members are! We had to put my mom in respite care and I’m so thankful for the amazing care she received and how much she loved every moment of her stay. When the time comes for a permanent move, this will definitely be the community that she will be joining! Thanks Morning Pointe East for all the love and care you showed our family! ❤️
Morning Pointe of Lexington East seemed great. The people were very nice. There were just certain things the place didn't offer that I needed for my mother. I don't remember what their reasoning was, but they said that they weren't allowed to hand feed or spoon feed patients, and my mom would need that, and the pricing was very expensive and not affordable for us. Everything else seemed pretty decent. Their menu didn't seem very off from the other place I've been to. They had similar types of menus, especially for things that can be prepared every day. It was very nice and clean, but I couldn't remember my way through the place. There were long hallways, but it was a nice open area when you first walked in. The memory care facility was pretty nice. No red flags or anything bad I saw. One of the directors there was just really nice and very honest with us. She said herself she couldn't afford to bring her parents here, like she understood us on the price range situation and whatnot. She even recommended us other places that were cheaper. She still helped us out in the way we needed. The staff was very nice. They even gave us a little candied pecan thing on our way out.
Need to find another place, unless visit daily, keep eye on things, terrible. Mom took grandmother and left to go to Preston Greens. World of difference in care. Grandmother is happy and gaining weight back.
We are absolutely over the moon with Morning Pointe on Shoreside Drive. The facility is impeccably clean and you feel like you’re walking into a new home. We are continually impressed by the staff and their willingness to help while maintaining a smile and a positive attitude. The admin staff has been so patient, understanding and most importantly KIND at all times. We feel blessed that our family is in such great hands. We find it to be a very peaceful and calming environment. HIGHLY recommend.
Best assisted living facility in Lexington! They give wonderful care and attention to each patient. Linda the head nurse is a godsend!
All around, not a great place. Go with personal experience, not advertising gimmicks. Memory care worst on earth. After several trips to [facility name removed], surprised visits to CK things out...moved there. A WORLD of difference. Never will recommend MP...ever. Oh my goodness, CLEAN, so clean, and fresh food.
We moved to Morning Pointe after searching numerous communities. The management team has made my loved one feel as though they are still within her home. The food is exceptional, and the entire atmosphere is wonderful. I will definitely be recommending this community to anyone who asks.
This is a wonderful community that has a wonderful team to take care of your loved one. Highly recommend!
I will say only great things about Morning Pointe East. We have the best staff as well as residents. I started out with a staffing agency and decided to come one full time best decision I ever made. Here at Morning Pointe everyone is treated just like family.
Morning Pointe East is a wonderful community! My loved one lives here and we could not be happier with our experience so far! The staff is so loving and caring. They go above and beyond each day. Family is always welcome to visit and dine with their loved ones as well. Can’t choose a better community in lexington!
Great facility with friendly staff and residents.
This is a wonderful community with a fantastic vision for the future of senior care. This is one of few owner-operator companies in the industry and I will say, they know what they are doing! They team is amazing and truly care for the residents each and every day!
Terrible things noticed on memory care side. Moving grandfather out!! The ED never, never walks over there to keep eye on things, and to make sure things clean, residents engaged, clean, doesn't check rooms or bathrooms, nothing. Must be beneath her. You want a clean facility. So disappointed.☹️
I love this place and so does my mother!!! They keep moms mind working on the lantern. There has been some staffing change in the past year but has not been an issue from us. My mom is higher functioning and can let us know what’s going on. She loves the staff and the activities. One family member has tried to engage in conversation several times asking if I would contact corporate with her with concerns. This lady is definitely persistent lol. I have told her that we are 100% satisfied with morning pointe and if I contacted them it would only be for praises. She asked about missing items, communication, and talked about the aids being too young. All of these recent posts sure sound like her. Please don’t let one person smear the name of this place. Trust and find out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed
Not impressed after seeing and hearing (in person) what other families experience. One lost a parent due to dehydration. I don't need or want what they've gone through. 2 other places very highly recommend, with best reviews. I'll keep looking.
I placed my mom there several weeks ago and let me say this was not an easy decision but the staff and residents there made her transition seamless. She was welcomed by each director and several resident ambassadors. She raves about the food. There are tons of activities to keep them engaged. I cannot thank them enough for all they do!
We moved in when the pandemic was starting. The rooms are nice. We were unable to move our family member in and unable to be there for them when they moved in. So the people at the facility did it all. Once they were placed there I’ve never been allowed to go into his room the whole time they’ve been. Ive never meet but one nurse and haven’t meet anyone but the front desk ladies. For a person with dementia is hard and a Pandemic is worse. During this pandemic when they had a active case which was always their staff they would seclude the residents in their rooms for 14 days to the point that every time they were to get out it would start again for another case. This went on for 4 months straight where they were in their rooms with only food and medications were brought in. It’s crucial for people with dementia to be out and engaged. Other facilities in town did not stop their care as to working with them everyday. Nor did they stop having church services. Other places made accommodations to continue without seclusion. It seems that the facilities just got lazy when the pandemic happened. With nothing happening for almost a year for the amount of money they are charging they needed to find a way to continue in a safe manner. For all those months they spent sitting staring at walls they were still wanting their 5 thousand dollars!! The company sure has made a haul of income at the sacrifice of the residents. Also for a diabetic it’s important that a podiatrist sees them well when the pandemic happened the company stopped seeing residents and they didn’t get anyone back in for basically a year. If you’re looking for there to be a actual doctor to see your family they won’t see one here. The company makes you think that they come in but it’s just a APRN or PA that’s overseen by a MD. A MD hasn’t been in that facility. Also I have caught several mistakes that this medical group overlooked and never followed thru on. Also this medical group doesn’t know how to manage a diabetic. Very poor management of my family member when this wasn’t a problem when they were home. Also the facility never read my families papers that we filled out to know that we had left a piece of equipment that they used daily then they lost it basically accused me of not leaving it to wanting me to replace it. At this time when the Governor and regulators have lifted restrictions on visiting this place has not. They still come running to the door to stop you from crossing that threshold. You have to have a appointment Monday-Friday no weekend visits and if you get an appointment then you can only visit for 30 minutes. Now when you’re paying 5 thousand a month to them and other facilities are open without appointments and time limits is this going on here? Also after them sitting in a room with no activity for almost a year they went up in price and not just $20 either! It’s all their rules and they want their money to control and still keep families away! This makes no sense and we are moving out!
This memory care is stunning. The layout is exactly what my husband is going to need. The staff is accommodating and friendly. I look forward to working closely with them.
This community is beautiful. The spacious 2 bedroom is perfect for my mother and father. We toured on the weekend and there was still activities going on with plenty to do. Also the food there looks delicious. They will be moving in next month and we could not be more excited for them.
Try Sayre Christian Village or Preston Greens. The staff, cleanliness, mood, just 100 percent better. You'll get many excuses at Morning Pointe and no one stays. No communication between staff. None. So much better, and cleaner at Sayre and Preston's Greens. Great communication. Difference is like night and day.
I would like to thank the staff and the management for their hard work and compassionate care of my mother. It is never easy to trust someone else to care for your loved ones. They try very hard to make my mother feel at home, make her smile, and tailor her experience to meet her specific needs. If we ever have a concern or problem and tell the staff and management team, they address are concerns or problems immediately. Thank you so much.
