Pre-Approved Dementia Training List from Kentucky's Office of Dementia Services

The Kentucky Office of Dementia Service shared a larger list of pre-approved dementia training programs than the one we originally received from DAIL. Click Here to see this list.

As a reminder, the first step to being in compliance with the required training laid out in SB-61 is that Assisted Living communities should submit information about their current training programs to Jennifer Craig for approval. From what we've heard from ALCs who have already completed this step, the approval process is quick and no further action on their part has been needed.

Being in compliance with SB-61 by July 14, 2022, even if it is repealed, will put our communities on solid footing as it pertains to Alzheimer's/Dementia care training when SB-11 regulations are promulgated and take effect.
