New CDC Guidance: Preventing the Spread of COVID-19 in Retirement Communities and Independent Living Facilities (Interim Guidance)

KSLA and all Assisted Living Communities received information from Carrie Anglin, DAIL, this morning regarding preventing the spread of COVID-19 in retirement and independent living communities. We are passing this along to those who may not have seen it yet, including our personal care homes.

This new communication includes what owner/operators/administrators, residents, visitors/volunteers and staff can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition, it tells you what to do once a case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in your facility.
