Percentage of COVID-19 Vaccinated Staff/Residents

As of Tuesday, April 27, 2021, 52 of our 127 provider members (41%) had responded to this survey. Of those 52, 60% of staff had been vaccinated and 93% of residents had been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Thank you to all who participated on our survey regarding the percentages of COVID-19 vaccinated staff & residents. On a call with CHFS on Wednesday, April 21, we learned that CHFS is now requiring that the information requested on our recent survey be reported to them every Tuesday by EOB, beginning April 27, 2021. For that reason, we're discontinuing our survey. The following is the text from the email that was sent to provider members by DAIL Commissioner Elridge on Monday, April 26, 2021:

In an effort to be transparent, DAIL will be posting weekly the totals of vaccinated staff and residents at every Assisted Living Community. A survey link will be sent to you every Monday morning https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LTCVaccine . The survey will need to be completed by close of business every Tuesday of each week starting April 27, 2021. For the first week, provide the total number of staff and residents who are vaccinated and the number of staff and residents at your community. Future numbers will be a rolling total; you will simply add any new staff or residents to your previously reported numbers. It is for the benefit of the community to provide up-to-date numbers. We appreciate your cooperation with this. If you have any questions, please contact Carrie.Anglin@ky.gov.
